Goombario's Log Day 18: After rescuing the second star spirit, Mamar gave us the power of Lullaby. This ability will make all enemies fall asleep similar to a sleepy sheep item. On the way back we saw Kolorado again and refused to give him his letter and artifact we found, and then proceeded to head back to Toad Town. Not much happened there besides visiting Mario's House with Luigi nowhere in sight. Hopefully while exploring Toad Town, we'll be able to find the location of the next star spirit.
Kooper's Log Day 13: Phew. Made it out of those ruins finally. In hindsight, maybe grabbing the gold statue wasn't the brightest idea I had, but hey it sure is shiny. Bombette really chewed me out once we got outside, but like, I thought she was the adventurous daredevil of the group. Why is she outing me for my reckless behavior? Oh, and Luigi is stuck under Mario's House I guess.
Bombette's Log Day 12: Jumping Piranha Plants, that Kooper knows how to get on my nerves. That shell-head had the audacity to steal an ancient artifact from the ruins and expects nothing to go wrong. Has he seen ANY adventure movies where whenever someone takes a valuable artifact from an ancient temple or ruin, there's going to be booby-traps around every corner? For chomps sake, his hero is based on adventurers who get themselves in dangerous situations to steal artifacts. You'd think he had seen all the traps that they go through. Whatever, it's over and I don't care anymore. But hey, I got powered up so that's nice.
Parakarry's Log Day 7: I don't know why Mario isn't giving Kolorado his letter yet? I mean, a mail-koopas job is to deliver letters to their destinations, and yet Mario refuses to give him the letter. What's his angle here? Well anyways, we got back to Toad Town and now we just need to find the location of the next star spirit, wherever that may be.

everyone is running away from the giant stone chomp Kooper released
Bombette: Nice going shell for brains! You just had to go snooping!
Kooper: I wanted to find something cool to give Kolorado. I was hoping if I brought him something from the ruins he was searching for, he'd definitely let me join him.
Bombette: Oh you and your big dreams and your tiny brain!
Karry: Guys can we stop arguing and start running for our lives! Or in my case flying!
Goombario: He's right, book it!
the stone chomp proceeds to chase them throughout the ruins continuously before reaching the entrance
Goombario: Wait! I just realized something!
Kooper: What!
Goombario: That things gonna bust through the wall and wreak havoc on the desert!
Karry: Slug! You're right. We need to distract it with something! But what?
Bombette: I have an idea. grabs Kooper's artifact Here! Go get it! chucks it into the stone chomp's mouth, which then turns around and leaves
outside
Kooper: Why the shell did you do that!? That artifact was mine! I yoinked it fair and square!
Bombette: Oh, well did you want to unleash a giant stone chomp onto the entire desert! Ugh! You are an idiot!
Kooper: You're just jealous that I'm a better attacker than you, aint that right Karry?
Karry: Do not involve me in your little scuffle you two. You need to chill out.
Bombette: Oh, I'll show you who's tougher shell-head!A skirmish involving Bombette and Kooper ensues with Parakarry caught in-between it
Goombario: watching the event unfold with Mario How much longer is this adventure going to take?
