Episode 49

Goombario's Log Day 49: After we beat the two lakitus, we made our way through a hedge maze and found the water stone being held by Rosie. Yet despite the fact that Lily was in danger of shriveling up, she refused to give us the stone unless we gave her something prettier. We did get the stone and saved Lily and got the Miracle Water, but man what an amphole she was. 

Kooper's Log Day 44: You know, even though I still hate it when Mario uses danger strats, at least he's using a setup to make sure he can't instantly be killed. It does make him more powerful dealing with enemies though, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. 

Bombette's Log Day 43: Holy shell that rose was a blooper! A flower was in dire need of water and would rather have them dry up unless we do something nice for her. My lord she is an amphole to this poor flower. Like, how, I was, to,... No! Just. Stop with the comparisons to you and Kooper! I'm better than that flower. 

Parakarry's Log Day 38: So, after spiraling through several different emotions from those lakitus from earlier, I got my composure back and feel ready to fight. I do wish that my friend Lester was around to help me. I haven't seen him in months and don't know what he's been up to. 

Bow's Log Day 27: OMGoomba! We found another Amazy Dayzee! Seriously, what are the odds that we find two of these guys so close together!? In any case, we beat it no problem and got a ton of star points out of it. That's a win in my books. 

Watt's Log Day 17: Did you hear that!? Mario called me his favorite 'last minute addtion'. I don't know what that mean, but I'm just really happy right now. 

Captain Sushie's Log Day 11: And just like that, the great Water Stone be ours now. And thanks to that, we saved a poor lily we did, and got some Miracle Water for our troubles. Ah, what I'd give to swim in that water I would. 

in the center field 

Goombario: Hey, how's everyone holding up? 

Kooper: My feet ache, my back hurts, haven't seen the sun in ages. I'm doing great. 

Bombette: Glad to hear it, I guess. 

Karry: writing a letter 

Watt: Whatcha writing? 

Karry: Oh, I was getting curious about how an old friend of mine was doing so I'm writing him a letter. 

Bow: But you're the postman. How are you gonna deliver a letter to him while you're with us? 

Karry: Simple. ... scratch that I didn't think that far ahead. 

Sushie: Well, what this friend of yours be like? 

Karry: Well for starters, he's a lakitu who floats around in a cloud. He wears shades and has green hair, and has an attitude like no other. 

Goombario: He sounds, interesting. 

Karry: Trust me, he's a bit of a handful, but he's my best bud. Ever since we were kids. 

Kooper: Wow. I'd love to meet him one day. 

Bombette: Yeah, me too. 

Karry: In any case, how the shell can I deliver this letter to him, if I don't know how to find him? 

Bow: Wait, you don't even know where he lives? 

Karry: Recently he moved house and didn't tell me where he went so I can't find him. holds the letter up I just want to see him again. 

suddenly, the two lakitus from earlier float above them and using a fishing pole, steal the letter 

Everyone: WHAT THE!? looks up 

Lakitu 1: HAHAHA! Looks whose back baby! 

Lakitu 2: We will be taking that letter thank you very much. Later! 

Lakitu 1: See ya losers! both fly off 

Karry: ... I have nothing to say. Absolutely nothing. 

meanwhile 

Lakitu 1: Yo! Spike! Look what we just stole! 

Spike: What!? A letter! You realize we have more important things to be doing than committing a federal crime. 

Lakitu 2: Come on, just read the letter, okay? We worked really hard to steal it. 

Spike: Fine. But we'll return it when we're done. opens the letter and starts reading, soon realizes who it's for and from who ............. 

Lakitu 1: Hey, Spike. You okay? 

Spike: Y-Yeah. I'm fine. In fact, I think I'll hold on to this for a while. Guys, the time is now. When they start moving and rescue the sun, we strike. 

Lakitu 2: Wahoo! Alright. Time to commit another felony boys! Manslaughter! 

Spike: internally It is him. Do I really have the strength to do it? No. Get a hold of yourself Spike. When the time finally comes, you know what to do.
