Goombario's Log Day 41: After trekking through the jungle once more we found the great Raphael the Raven who helped us get into Mt. Lavalava. Thanks to the little ravens they constructed a pulley system that allowed us to climb a tree and zipline into the volcano. And now that we're inside, nothing will stand in our way of rescuing the fifth star spirit.
Kooper's Log Day 36: Holy shell! I never knew ravens could be that big before. I've heard stories about Raphael the Raven but I never knew he was real. Gotta say, it was an honor to meet the guy in person. He seems pretty chill not gonna lie.
Bombette's Log Day 35: Oh boy, this volcano sure is hot. I should be careful a stray lava splash doesn't light my fuse. It's definitely more scary than Dry Dry Desert's pure heat this time. We should all be on guard here.
Parakarry's Log Day 30: You know what's funny? I have heard of Raphael the Raven before but have never seen him in person since he never gets any mail. He's a pretty mysterious person so not many people get to see him, but as someone who prides themselves on delivering mail to everyone, I'm, shocked I never got to see Raphael until now.
Bow's Log Day 19: Out of the jungle and into the fire. I'm not sure what's worse here. The jungle humidity and my soggy bows, or the intense boiling heat and my bows potentially catching on fire. Let's just find that star spirit and fast okay.
Watt's Log Day 9: Wow! Mister Raven is real! I've been told many stories about him. He's so cool! I'm happy I got to meet him.
Captain Sushie's Log Day 3: Ah, it was a treat to see ol' Raphael again after all these years. Thanks to our plea he lent us his strength in construction to build us a way to Mt. Lavalava. Oh, and Mario decided to power me up with an Ultra Block he did. Now I can master Tidal Wave once more. It be many years ago since I'd felt this power, and now this old captain be ready to take on this volcano once and for all.

Sushie: Alrighty first mate. It be time I tell you about the third rule of the Captain's Code.
Goombario: Ok. What is it?
Sushie: I just need to do somethin' real quick. Hey, little lassie.
Watt: Um, what is it?
Sushie: What that ye be holding?
Watt: Candy.
Sushie: Could I see that real quick?
Watt: Um, sure. hands over the candy
Sushie: Thanks. yeets it into the jungle
Watt: ... starts wimpering, and then starts crying
Karry: What the shell was that for!?
Bow: Watt! Just calm down, okay!
Watt: still bawling her eyes out
Sushie: Don't worry. I know what ta do. First mate, repeat after me. covers her eyes with her fins Peek-a-Boo. cover her eyes again Peek-a-Boo.
Goombario: follows suit
Watt: crying, soon sees what's happening, starts to chuckle heh,... heh,... hahaha,... Hahahaha!!! That's so funny! Hahahahahaaaaa!!
Bombette: Ok, cool, but what the heck was that for?
Sushie: Rule 3 of the Captain's Code; Make a girl cry, that ain't gonna fly. Make a girl smile, ya passed the trial.
Kooper: But did you really have to throw away her candy to do that?
Sushie: Watchin over kiddies has been me forte for many years. It's a skill ya pick up not only on land, but the high seas as well.
Kooper: Sure, I guess. Watt, here. hands her another Maple Candy Bombette and I got extra ingredients to make multiple candies in case this happened.
Watt: Yay! takes candy and eats it
Kooper: It's a good thing we got extras right Bombette?
Bombette: ...
Kooper: Still not talking to me, huh? ... Oh, I know what to...
Bombette: Kooper I swear to the stars if you try and Peek-a-Boo me, I will take that bandana of yours and shove it so far up your amp it ends up behind your eyes.
Kooper: ... sides steps multiple feet away
Sushie: What be puttin them two in such a tizzy?
Bow: It's better you didn't know.
Karry: Trust us it's for your own good.
Sushie: You say that, but since I don't agree with your warning, I'm gonna ignore ya.
Bow: Fine.
Karry: We'll tell you what happened. Just, prepare yourself, ok?
Sushie: I can take it. Lay it on me.
