2nd POV

You were sitting at a table at Good Hunter, enjoying your free meal. After Albedo seemed to have taken an interest in your elemental sensibility, he tried to persuade you to accompany him to Dragonspine. You told him you'd rather eat something than freeze off your butt up there. So he ended up bribing you with food, which obviously seemed to have worked.

"If you want me to accompany you, I'd ask you to come back next week. I arrived in Mondstadt not too long ago, and the circumstances of my arrival weren't ideal. I'd like to settle in first before heading somewhere else." You explained to the blonde, enjoying your Mondstadt Hash Browns.
The man smiled softly before nodding his head in agreement.
"Even if I'd like to start as soon as possible, I'll be considerate of you." He replied, crossing his arms.
You gave him a warm smile upon seeing his conflicted expression. You hoped that he wasn't all too disappointed.
Your eyes landed on Klee, who was eating grilled fish without care. A bitter smile appeared on your face. A memory of your little sisters flashed in your mind. Feeling your heart drop, you couldn't bare to look at her any longer. Your chest stung painfully as you couldn't help but think about your family. Will you be able to see them again?
Did you really die? Or were you just somehow brought to this world? Did your family report you missing? Was there a way to return home?
"(Y/N)?" Albedo called out.
You jumped slightly as you were brought back to your senses.
"Ah, sorry. I must have been lost in my thoughts. Did you say something?" You scratched your cheek, trying to play it off.
"I was wondering if you are alright. You looked rather troubled just now."
"It's nothing. As I said, I was lost in a train of thoughts. Nothing important." You gave him a reassuring smile.
He didn't pry further, knowing you wouldn't tell him anyway.

After you had finished your meal, you bid farewell to the siblings and headed up to the cathedral. You wanted to thank Barbara for tending to your injuries since.
Holding Klee's, hopefully safe, bomb in your arms, your fight with the stairs began.
Mondstadt had a lot of stairs, which annoyed you. In the game, you usually teleported to the bell tower and glided down to your destination. Even if you could use it in this world, you still had to find a way to get up there first.
Teleports are useless if they aren't activated.

After climbing the stairs for, what felt like hours, you finally found yourself in front of the gigantic statue.
Not wanting to cause any panic, you had stopped by the Headquartes, where you dropped off the bomb in the room you stayed in, without being spotted.
You took a moment to catch your breath before you headed toward your destination. Taking a deep breath, you pushed open the door.
Once inside the building, you looked around, admiring the design and atmosphere.
"Building this cathedral must have cost worth a fortune." You muttered and crossed your arms.

You walked further into the building, hoping to find Mondstadt's idol.
"Excuse me?" A timid voice suddenly called out from behind you.
Surprised, you turned around, standing face to face with the person you were looking for. The girl greeted you with a soft smile.
"You seem lost. Is there something I may help you with?" She asked, folding her hands together.
You scratched the back of your head as you returned her smile.
"Actually, I was looking for you. Jean told me you treated my wounds after I was brought to Mondstadt. I wanted to thank you." You explained, your cheeks slightly flushing red, "So... thank you."
Surprised, Barbara clasped her hands before her mouth.
"Oh, you are the one Bennet and Razor rescued from Wolvendom. The cut on your arm was dangerously deep. Not even Bennet came to me with an injury like this. Even after I finished tending to your wounds, your complexion looked terrible. After I returned to the cathedral, I prayed to Lord Barbatos that you would make it." She let out a sigh of relief as one of her hands rested on her chest. "I'm glad to see you alive and well."
You crooked your head to the side.
