2nd POV

After you three were done eating, Kaeya left, leaving you and Amber behind.
Just like the brunette had promised, she gave you a bag. It looked rather old, but would do.

"Oh, and take this one too." She said and handed you a quiver filled with some arrows, "That bow is useless without arrows. Once you earned some money, you can buy some more."
"Thank you so much. Once I have enough money, I'll treat you to a meal at Good Hunter, as a thanks." You smiled.
"I'm looking forward to it."
After you had strapped it around your shoulder, Amber suggested you look for a knight called Hertha, down at the marketplace.
Thanking Amber for her advice, you bid farewell to the girl, who had other jobs to do.

You strolled down the stairs, looking for the woman who usually gave you the quests back in the game.
"Good afternoon." You politely greeted the woman with a bright smile.
"Ah, hello. What can I help you with?" She asked, seeming rather troubled.
"I was wondering if you have some request from the townspeople, I could help out with?" You explained to her, "Amber, told me to talk to you if I wanted to help out."
"Oh, you must be the new person, Acting Grandmaster Jean had told me about. My name is Hertha. If you are looking for a view delivery request, there have been indeed some. Here, take a look." The woman said, handing you a pile of papers.
Scanning through them, you realized that they were all about requests for different things.
"Hmm, looks like I'll be busy for a while." You grinned, before carefully packing them into your bag, "Don't worry. I'll take care of them."
The female gave you a rather shocked look.
"Are you certain that you want to accept all of them?" She asked worried.
"Yes, don't worry. I'm glad that I can be of help." You replied with a reassuring smile.
You were looking forwards to helping the citizens, but of course, the thought of earning money fast and easy also lingered in the back of your mind.

Waving her goodbye, you hurried down the street towards the city's exit. After you crossed the bridge, you took a look at the first request.
"7 Sunsettias." You muttered, folding the paper and shoved it into your pants' pocket, "Easy enough. Good thing that I remember a few locations of the trees."

Enjoying the fresh air and freedom you gained, you began your tasks.

A few hours later

You had finished around eight requests, slowly saving up some money. You didn't earn as much as you would in the game, but you didn't mind. After all, you didn't intend to end up with over one million Mora within a week.
Or did you?

You just came back from collecting a bunch of Valberries, that Diona had requested for a new drink.
"Good evening." You greeted the feline with a bright smile.
"Welcome to the Cat's Tail." She welcomed you with a warm smile, "What can I do for you?"
"I'm here to deliver the Valberries you had requested." You replied, placing your bag down on the counter.
"Ah, thank you so much. You seem exhausted, let me get you something to drink, as a little sign of gratitude." Diona said and hurried behind the bar.

You sat down on one of the stools, resting your head in your arms. You were indeed a little exhausted, since you had run into a group of Hilichurls as you were looking for the berries. The fight was rather exhausting since you are unable to use elemental energy.
You had to get better control over your powers, so it can be used in combat. Hopefully, Albedo would be able to help you.

"Here you go!" Diona said, placing a dark purple juice in front of you, "It's made of Wolfhooks. I hope you like it."
"Thank you." You smiled at her, taking a sip.
It was surprisingly sweet, but had a sour aftertaste. Yet, you did like it.
"It's tasty!" You complimented her.
Hearing your words, she rested her hands on her hips and rose her head, proudly.
"Of course it is." Diona said with a grin.
