2nd POV

A few days later

"Hah... It's so quiet." You sighed as you sat at your desk.
Flipping through the book, you took notes of plants that were familiar to those from your world.

To tell the truth, you were bored, and it was too quiet for your comfort.

Back in your world, you usually had your Pc running in the background while doing something; providing you with music or Let's Play videos.
There were no such things in this world. The only music you were able to listen to were the bards' instruments.

"I miss my EDM Nightcore songs." You whined, closing the book shut, "I miss my computer games! I wasn't even able to experience the third Lantern Rite festival before waking up here! If I'm stuck in this world, I'll have to wait around three years for it to happen!"

You irritated rose from the chair, nearly knocking it over.

"I'm so bored. What should I-" Your eyes suddenly landed on your bow.
It was rather inconvenient to always have to carry Crystal Cores around with you. Those crystals need a lot of space inside the bag.
You grabbed the bag of dull gems and your bow and headed outside.

"Next destination: Blacksmith!"

At the Smithy

"Good afternoon!" You greeted the blacksmith with a cheerful smile.
"Can I help you?" Wagner asked, while forging a sword.
"Yes. I'd like something made." You replied, feeling somewhat nervous.
"What do you want me to forge?" He asked rather curious.
"I want a bow forged that can withstand a huge amount of Elemental energy. And I want those Core Crystals to be incorporate in it." You requested, placing the bag on the table.
"If you have the materials, I can forge the weapon you want." Wagner explained bluntly.
"What materials will you need?" You asked curiously.
"I'll need around ten Crystal Chunks."
"Alright. I'll come back once I got them." You replied hasty and hurried away, grabbing the bag of Crystal Cores.

Once you were far enough, a heavy sigh escaped your lips.
How were you supposed to get ten Crystal Chunks?! You were a bow user! It takes so long to mine those chunks with a normal sword. A bow is utterly useless for mining!

You couldn't bring yourself to bother someone with your problems, so you had to think of a way to get those Chunks on your own.

Suddenly, an idea crossed your mind. A stupid idea.

Outside the city, near a Mining Outcrop

"Hahaha. I'm going to fucking die today." You laughed, grabbing your bow.

You choose a mining outcrop near a Hilichurl Camp that included an Axe Mitachurl. Since you weren't able to mine those Crystal Chunks by yourself, you were going to get it done with someone else's help.

Calming your nerves, you infused the arrow with Anemo energy, from the winds that blew through the plains.

Releasing the arrow, it soared through the air, hitting one of the smaller Hilichurls weak points, killing it instantly.
Seeing their comrade dissolving into dust, the other Hilichurls were alarmed.
The group started attacking you. One by one, you got rid of the smaller monsters, while dodging the Mitachurl's axe. Some of them left, Electro and Pyro Orbs behind that you absorbed into the Crystal Cores.
After the small fries were gone, you were able to fully focus on your actual goal; collecting Crystal Chunks.

You placed yourself in front of one of the ores, taunting the Mitachurl. It charged at you, full speed, ready to strike you down. Using the Anemo power within your body, you swiftly dodged its axe. Missing you, the monster's weapon hit the blue ore, breaking it into smaller chunks.

"Hah! It actually works." You thought, a cocky grin on your face.

You repeated this act over and over again until there was no ore left.

"Sorry, buddy." You apologized, as you shot an Electro charged arrow at it, causing the Mitachurl to stumble backwards.
Furious by your attack, it charged at you. Not hesitating, you shot a Pyro arrow at it, causing an Overcharge reaction. The monster dropped its axe and collapsed onto the ground, slowly disintegrating.

Looking at it, you couldn't help but feel sorry for it. Those monsters were minding their own business, until you came and killed them off for some ore.

A sigh escaped your lips.
You walked over to where the monster had died and placed your hand on the ground. Feeling the Dendro energy flowing through the ground, you closed your eyes.

You imagined a single red Spider Lily.

Opening your eyes again, you rose from the ground. Looking down, you spotted the single red flower.
A small memento.

You put your weapon on your back, and collected the Crystal Chunks, storing them inside your bag.

Giving the lonely flower one last glance, you turned around and headed back to the city.
