2nd POV
A gentle breeze graced your face, slowly awakening me from my peaceful slumber. Your eyes fluttered open, and you were greeted by the sun's bright rays that shone through the forest's trees. The unpleasant feeling of grass tickling your face made you rise from your sleeping position.
Drowsily, you rubbed your still half-closed eyes.
"Where am I?" You looked around the unfamiliar place.
You furrowed your brows.
"I was on my way home from school. How did I end up here? There aren't even forests near my place. Was I kidnapped?"
You shook your head.
"That's unlikely. Why would someone kidnap me and abandon me in the middle of the woods?"
The sun had begun to disappear behind the horizon.
You sighed and forced yourself off the uncomfortable ground. After wiping the dirt off your clothes, you started strolling through the thicket. You had no idea where to go, but just sitting here and waiting wouldn't have done you any good.
"If I'm lucky, I might find some kind of trail that leads out of this forest."
So, You continued walking. Walking, hoping to find a way out.
You knew that once night fell, your chances of finding an exit were slim to none.
You had no phone with you, either. Not having your phone with you wasn't the end of the world, but it could have proven useful.
"Ugh! I'm tired!" You whined, throwing your head back.
*growl*
"And hungry!"
*growl*
"Wait... That isn't my stomach begging for food."
You spun around. A yelp escaped your mouth as a group of wolf-like creatures greeted you.
"That's bad! Like. Really~ bad!"
You knew these creatures.Riftwolves.
There was no enemy you hated and feared more than these.
But that didn't matter at that moment.
What mattered was that those dangerous beasts were in front of you, not in the game.
"Fuck this!"
Not wasting another second, you spun around and made a run for it.
"If those fuckers hit me even once, I'm done for."
A loud howl reached your ears.
"I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die!" The voice inside your head screamed, begging your legs to run faster.
Suddenly a dark rift appeared in front of you. You took a sharp turn to the right, hoping to dodge the attack.
"Fuck!" You hissed in pain as your arm was cut by the Riftwolf's claws.
You clutched your hand around the gushing wound to slow down the bleeding.
"I can't die like this!" You cursed under your breath as the pack of monsters drew closer with each passing second.Your legs were running as fast as they could, and yet it wasn't enough.
The beasts were faster than you.
You had no weapon to defend yourself.
Again, a rift appeared in front of you, but this time you wouldn't be able to dodge it in time.
Your heart dropped as the monster's claw aimed straight for your face.
Just as you were about to bid your pitiful life goodbye, a purple flash of light caught your eye.
The monster in front of you was gone. In its place stood a young man with white hair and red eyes, holding a claymore in his hands.
"Razor?!"
You opened your mouth to address the boy, but the world suddenly began to spin. Was it blood loss? Your ears rang as you felt myself slowly drifting into unconsciousness.

3rd POVTwo boys were walking down a trail in Wolvendome, chatting carelessly.
"Thanks for helping me collect all these wolfhooks. I'm sure Diona will be grateful." One of them spoke up, smiling cheerfully.
He had short white hair and bright green eyes. He wore a pair of goggles on his head and a yellow cloth wrapped around his upper arm.
"Once she-" The male was cut short as his foot suddenly got caught on a root, causing him to tumble over.
The bag filled with wolfhooks landed on the ground, spilling its content.
"Bennet. You alright?" His friend asked with a worried expression.
Bennet rose from the ground, rubbing the back of his head with a grin.
"Don't worry, Razor. I'm fine. This is nothing." The white-haired replied and started picking the purple fruits off the ground.
"I'll help," Razor said and crouched down next to his friend.
As they were filling the bag with the berries, Razor suddenly tensed up.
"Huh? What's wrong?" Bennet asked with a confused expression.
The silver-haired male rose from the ground, seemingly alerted by something.
"Blood." He growled, furrowing his eyebrows.
"Blood!? Is someone injured?!" The green-eyed dropped the now-filled bag, spilling its content; again.
Bennet opened his mouth to speak, but his friend was already disappearing into the woods.
Not spearing the fruits another glance, he hurried after his buddy.
Razor gripped his Claymore tightly, following the scent of blood.
In the distance, he spotted a (h/c) haired person fleeing from a pack of Riftwolves. He gritted his teeth. Those monsters have started appearing more frequently for some reason. It annoyed him. They weren't only attacking humans that were visiting Wolvendom, but also the animals that lived there.
Violet sparks erupted from his sword. With one blow, he struck down the beast that was about to attack the human. He gave them a short glance before fending off the remaining monsters.
The young adult, clutching their bleeding arm, suddenly collapsed. Just in time, Bennett arrived, catching them.
"Oof." He huffed, nearly being dragged down by their limb body.
The male carefully placed them on the ground, pulling out a bandage from his brown saddlebag.
"Razor, please help me carry them to the city," Bennett spoke up as he wrapped the bandage tightly around their wound.
The wolf-boy nodded, carefully picking them off the ground after his friends finished the first-aid treatment.

(Y/N)'s POV
I groaned in pain as I slowly opened my eyes, finding myself in a once again unfamiliar-familiar place. Slowly turning my head, I looked out the window. It was dark outside. Probably in the early morning.
I sighed, sitting up. I flinched as a sharp pain ran through my arm. My eyes glanced down at it. A clean bandage was tightly but neatly wrapped around it.
"No. This must be a dream. This can't be real. It mustn't be real!"
I carefully reached for the bandage, flinching at my touch.
"It will probably leave a scar." A male voice suddenly broke the silence.
I recognized this voice without having to look at its owner. The reason for this was simple. I disliked this character. Always talking, always wearing a fake smile. It didn't matter what he said; to me, it always sounded like a lie.
"You must be confused." He spoke up once again.Annoying.
"You're in the Knights of Favonius Headquarters. A boy from the adventure guild and his friend brought you here after you were attacked by Riftwolves." An amused tone accompanied his explanation.
I didn't reply. There was no reason to do so. I did have a lot of questions on my mind. But none of those could have been answered by him.
Steps echoed through the room, coming closer. The man stopped next to me, his gaze fixed on me.
I clutched the bedsheets beneath my hands.
I was too scared to look at him. I wanted all of this to be nothing but a vivid dream. I didn't want to believe it. All of this couldn't be real.
It felt like my hopes of this being a mere nightmare would be shattered as soon as I were to look at him.
My body began to tremble.
"This can't be real. This can't be real. This can't be real."
I flinched as a cold hand suddenly touched my cheek.
"Are you alright?" His voice was soft and sounded surprisingly sincere.
"Don't touch me," I replied coldly, my nails digging deeper into the bedsheet's soft fabric.
He pulled his hand back without hesitation.
I looked at the man, despite my fear of facing reality.
My (e/c) eyes met his ice-blue one. It was glistening in the dim moonlight that shone through the window. Despite the room being dark, I could see his face pretty well. His expression was calm, but his gaze felt cold. He was suspicious of me, but I couldn't care less.
"I'm Kaeya." He introduced himself with a smile that didn't fit his expression, "I am the Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius. The acting Grand Master asked me to look after you to make sure you are alright."
"What an honor to have the Captain look after me." I replied with a fake smile, "I'm (Y/N). I'd appreciate it if you could leave the room, so I could get some more sleep. It's still dark outside, after all."
My blunt response seemed to have taken him by surprise, as it took him some time to reply.
"Alright. I'll take my leave then. Have a restful sleep." Kaeya spoke up before turning around and leaving the room.
Once I heard the door shut behind him, I let out a heavy sigh. I let myself fall back onto the mattress.
"This can't be real. How could this happen? How did I end up in a game?!"
I crossed my arms over my face.
"Am I dead?"
The thought of having died scared me.
"If I am dead... My mother, my father. My fat cat. My siblings. I'll never see my family again."
Tears I had tried to hold back streamed down my cheeks like rivers. Desperately, I tried to wipe them away, but they didn't stop. All I could do was push these terrible thoughts aside, hoping it would make me feel better.
But this was a mere wish.
