2nd POV

Now that you were back at Windrise, you didn't know how to find the others. Should you just stay here and wait for them? If they were to head towards Dawn Winery, then they had to pass by this area eventually. It wouldn't surprise you if they had ended up looking for you instead of going there, though; which made this whole situation even more complicated.

You scratched your head with a heavy sigh. "Phones would be really useful in situations like this. Good that the closest thing to a phone would be the Akasha, even if it's only a source for information. Let's just write a letter instead, I'm sure it will somehow reach them. . . in a few days." You scoffed, crossing your arms. "Just gonna head to the Dawn Winery instead. If I can't find them there, I'll just get back here and wait."

The surroundings blurred, and before you knew it, you found yourself at your destination. "What a handy ability."
You hurried down the hill, not missing the chance to catch some Crystal Flies on your way.

"Definitely not going to waste those on Resin."

Arriving at the building, you took a look around, unable to spot the others. "Figures..." They weren't here. So, they either were still on their way or they were actually looking for you; which you hoped wasn't the case. Should you just wait here instead? If they weren't able to find you until sunset, then at least Diluc would have to wind up here at some point. It's his home, after all.
Yet, you didn't like the idea of idle standing around on someone else's property. It felt rude, and probably looked stupid as well.

So, you let out a sigh and teleported back to Windrise.
Heading over to the giant tree, you sat down between its roots. Its wide stretched branches provided you with a cool shade, protecting you from the bright noon sun. The leaves swayed with the warm breeze that traveled across the plains.

A quiet sigh escaped your lips as a strange thought crossed your mind.
"I wonder if the in-game events will take place. Festivals like Lantern Rite and Windblume are definitely going to happen. But what about the other... what are they called? Flagships Events?"
Of course, you liked these events. They were somewhat plot related, more or less important. But they are... Yet, you had to admit that some of them aren't really ones you would like to experience firsthand.

Did you like the idea of being able to spend time with different characters during the events? Yes, you did.

Did you like the idea of fighting inside Domains? No.

Did you like the idea of your life being put in danger?
Fuck no!

You let out a heavy sigh, maybe you could dodge some of these events, by avoiding them on purpose. On the other hand, it wouldn't surprise you if they happened, even if you weren't taking part in them. So, wouldn't there still be a chance of running into someone despite that?

You hummed, closing your eyes. "In the event, Unreconciled Stars, the Traveler meets Scaramouche for the first time. As far as I remember, he was in Liyue before heading towards Mondstadt, because of a mission. But how long did he stay in Liyue, and when exactly did he arrive in Mondstadt? Could there actually be a slim possibility of running into him, even without the event?" A quiet sigh escaped your lips, "I wouldn't want to run into him..."

You couldn't be that unlucky.

"Huh? What's wrong?"

". . ."

"You don't know who I am?"
