A/N
I apologize for the late update, but I really had trouble writing this chapter.

Reason 1: Regardless of what you guys think, but in my opinion, Liyue's Archon Quests were exhausting and dull most of the time, with way more talking than action.
That's why, I'm not sure whether I should let (Y/N) follow Aether around; listening to the never-ending talking; or if they should explore Liyue on their own; meeting other characters...

Reason 2: My mind is already filled with thoughts about chapters for Inazuma and Sumeru, making the Liyue chapters even more difficult to deal with.

Reason 3: I'm a cheater and started getting into HSR... Shame on me. XD

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter, which consisted of two sentences for two hours straight.

2nd POV

After receiving the Sigil of Permission, you set out to your next destination; Jueyun Karst.

"I won't complain about Mondstadt's stairs ever again..." You wheezed, stumbling along the mountain path.

"Paimon can't believe how unathletic you are. Living for 500 years; shouldn't your body's state be a little more promising?" Paimon asked, shrugging her shoulder with a smug grin.
You crossed your arms, "Well, I don't know. It could be that my body's physical state resets when I die. Wouldn't that be a plausible explanation for my seemingly terrible stamina?"

Paimon tilted her head, giving you a doubting look, "That does sound pretty far-fetched."
You gave her a look of disbelief, before pinching the bridge of your nose, "I'm literally coming back to life after dying..."

Hearing this, the silver haired girl scratched the back of her head, seemingly at a loss for words.

"I wonder if I'm cursed..." You muttered, tapping your chin, "Is this some kind of punishment for something I did before winding up here?"
"Well..." Aether mused, tapping his chin, "What kind of unspeakable act could you have possibly committed, to be punished with a never-ending cycle of life and death?"
You shrugged your shoulders, "Beats me. But whoever is responsible for this, is surely enjoying my dilemma."

Paimon hummed, crossing her arms, "What makes you think that someone is responsible for all this?"
Tiredly ruffling your hair, you let out a sigh, "Well, obviously someone brought me to this world. Didn't I mention before that I couldn't have arrived here on my own? I obviously don't have the ability to do so; otherwise I would have already left this world a long time ago."

"Right... Paimon kind of forgot about that..." The pixie admitted with a sheepish grin, "By the way... How is your memory recovering going? Did your recent dreams uncover some important events from your past?"

Hearing her question, you frowned. Aether crossed his arms, glaring at the silver haired girl.

You let out a quiet sigh.

"Guess you didn't." Paimon laughed dryly, seemingly disappointed.

After a bit more of walking, you finally reached an open area and stopped, not taking another step.

Paimon gave you a confused look, tilting her head. "What's wrong?"

"We've arrived." I explained, crossing my arms.
"How do you-", before Paimon could finish her sentence, she was interrupted by a deep voice.

"And who might we be? Those that dare enter Jueyun Karst?" Turning around, you spotted Moon Carver standing at the edge of a big rock, looming over you.
He gave off a majestic aura as he stood there, gazing down.
