2nd POV

. . . "Can't you be any more noisy?" 

Recognizing this voice, you felt your heart drop.
Until this point, you never would have guessed that this day could get even worse.

"You got to be fucking kidding me..."

Turning your head, you were met with a pair of deep indigo colored eyes.

"Scaramouche."

You were at a loss for words.
Why was he even here? Was it because of the event that took place during 1.1? Still, how could you have been possibly unlucky enough to run into him? Sure, you were with Bennett, but you were certain that he wasn't the cause for your misfortune. 

You furrowed your brows.
The fact that you knew what he was actually capable of didn't do you any good in this situation. Staying calm was your highest priority. It would be suspicious if you were acting nervous around him, despite never actually having crossed paths before. Unless...

"Ah. Sorry." Bennet apologized with a sheepish grin. "We didn't know that someone else would be here."
Despite the clear hostility in the stranger's eyes, Bennett's friendly attitude didn't falter.

Scaramouche clicked his tongue in annoyance, "I don't care. Get out and find yourself another shelter."

You were flabbergasted. Was he being serious?
You glared at him, already done with his attitude.

"Ex-fucking-cuse me?" You finally spoke up with a low voice, crossing your arms.
Bennett stared at you in utter shock, but you couldn't care less at that moment.

If you were to end up dead today, then surely without regrets.

"This isn't your cave. You have no right to kick us out." You pointed out with a cold tone, "If you can't stand us being here, you're free to leave."
The Fatui furrowed his brows, clearly irritated by your attitude.
"Ever heard of the term 'First come, first served.'? So, this is basically my cave now." He scoffed, crossing his arms.
He was clearly ticking you off. "You don't own shit here. You clearly aren't from Mondstadt, so why should you have more rights to be here than us?"

At this point, Bennett clearly was too scared to interrupt. The atmosphere was tense and suffocating. He had a bad feeling about the stranger in front of you, but he was certain that you already knew that. And yet, despite that, you still didn't back down.

Scaramouche sneered, seemingly amused by your words, "That's a bold statement, especially coming from someone who isn't even from this world."

"What?!" Your voice was louder than expected, unable to hide the utter shock in your tone.
You saw Bennett flinch in the corner of your eyes.

"What wrong? You seem confused. Are you surprised that I know your secret?" The Fatui asked with a mocking tone, "Well, on the other hand, seeing how you seem to have forgotten me once again, your reaction isn't that surprising."

You were at a loss for words. "No way!"

Shrugging his shoulders, he turned away, "Anyway. Do whatever you want, just don't bother me." And without another word, he went back to his corner and sat down.

You gaped at him. He seriously just dropped a bombshell only to act like it was nothing.
On the other hand, you couldn't muster up the courage to pry further, and he was aware of this.
