Daisy was hard at work like she always was when the bell rung above her door "miss Belle, have you ever seen this dress before?" An officer asked her, holding up a pink dress in a bag. She raised a brow "I've altered and made so many, I can't be expected to remember everything I've touched." She commented the officer stood towards her blocking her path.

She pushed past the officer to carry on with her work. She was swamped in orders and alterations. Daisy was saving up for that dream wedding she wants with lee, just when he gets around to proposing. "Miss belle I need you to look properly" he commanded placing a hand on her shoulder, making her face him.

She flinched away from him "I don't know who the dress belongs to, now I suggest you get out if you value your job" Daisy spat back at him, she wasn't in the mood for this and she really didn't want to have to tell lee, he would go bat shit crazy. The young officer gulped before he left with his tail between his legs.

Daisy let out a shaky breath before holding on to the table to stop herself from falling. Of course she recognised the dress, it was hers. The one she wore the night she murdered Tommy.

The couple sat in silence as Daisy poked her food on her plate, she wasn't hungry. "Don't worry sugar, I'll make it all disappear" lee explained with a soft smile, "disappear? Like you was supposed to have done in the first place?" She snapped slamming her fork down on the table. Lee didn't even flinch, he didn't feel that anger boil inside of him like it would with others.

She was right he was supposed to take care of everything and protect her and he failed. Now the police were re opening the case and they had solid evidence. Lee sighed "I'm sorry I failed you" he apologised, "no I'm sorry for snapping" Daisy responded.

The silence fell again both of them not wanting to say anything they would regret in the future. For once lee didn't know what to do, how could he make this all go away with out pulling any suspicion to him or Daisy. This was going to take time, something they didn't have.

Ok they police department weren't that smart but it wouldn't take long for them to work out who the dress belonged too, even if they asked every girl In knockemstiff.

Lee pushed his chair back with a scrape along the floor. Taking long strides to get to Daisy. He got down on his knees and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her body close to him. She ran her dainty finger through his hair. She felt numb, no emotions to express.

"I promise Daisy, I'll end all this. I'll give you the life you want. A family, that house with a white pickett fence up in brewer heights. All you have to do is say yes, once it's all over" lee vowed, now he just had to stick to his word and make it fast.

Nothing was going to stop him marrying his girl
