After Mrs Collins telling daisy where everything was and that there was a list of contact details on the fridge for the tenth time. The couple finally left, leaving daisy and baby Avery alone.

Luckily for a six month old baby, Avery was very well behaved. Only crying once for a feed. Daisy sat with her in her arms, fast asleep.

A gentle tap on the window grabbed daisy's attention. She knew it was lee. He wanted to pop by make sure she was safe. He wasn't keen on her being in a house alone.

She told him to gently tap on the window three times. That way she would know it was him and they didn't risk walking a sleeping baby. Slowly Daisy stood up to open the door. "Hey" she whispered, placing a soft kiss on his cheek.

Lee's face lit up in an instant, The mommy look really suited Daisy. The tiny infant content in her arms. "I'll go put her down" she whispered again, walking in to the dark hall way.

He wished this was his life.

The big house, perfect wife and beautiful daughter.

By hook or by crook he was going to get the life he wanted, no, the life he deserved. Lee had to fight that urge to put a ring on her finger. Three months had flown by but it was still too soon.

He didn't want to rush Daisy into anything, he wanted her to experience a real relationship. What love was really like and how much he truly loved her. Then again the sooner he married that girl the sooner he could fuck her senseless.... I mean, make passionate love to her.

She maybe twenty one the next week but daisy was a traditional girl. Waiting for marriage before she had sex, honestly she must be the only virgin left over the age of eighteen in town.

Lee was growing frustrated, sexually. But he would never pressure Daisy into anything. This was her body and her choice.

But damn, seeing her with a baby. Lee realised he wasn't getting any younger and he loved this woman.

"She should be happy now" daisy giggled as she wrapped her arms around his waist. Resting her head on his chest. " Your a natural sugar, you'll make an amazing mom" lee commented

Daisy looked up at him with a smile " ya think so?" She asked " I know so" he replied.
She always wanted a family of her own, her own way of making her ma proud of her.

" so when they gonna be back?" He asked walking over to the couch before getting comfy. Christ his deputy must be on a better wage then him or something. It was the best couch he had ever sat on, then again if lee didn't have that little drug addiction. He could have a head start on the life he wanted.

Daisy sat next to him, resting her head on his shoulder. "I told them to take there time, enjoy some baby free time" she explained, Collins had become a good friend of hers it was the least she could do for him.

An hour last by.

Lee took in a deep breath, his face as hard as a stone. "Come on sherif I'm waiting" Daisy teased with a wink. Trying to concentrate on the task at hand with a little minx sat opposite you wasn't easy.

She bite her lower lip as she turned over the last card on the table. "I raise my bet to 25" she smirked, "30" lee wagered shuffling the cards in his hand. "40" she stated with a big mischievous smile.

"You gotta be bluffing sugar" lee chuckled laying down his cards. 5,6,7,8,9 of diamonds, a straight flush "looks like you owe me darling" he said confidently. "Hold your horses, this ain't over to the fat lady sings" she explained.

Daisy laid down her cards. ace, king, queen, Jack, 10 of hearts a royal flush "looks like you owe me darling" she mocked his own words with a giggle, "where in the hell did you learn to play like that?" He asked as he started to shuffle the cards for a new game.

"Pa taught me" she shrugged, of course george taught her he thought. At least she doesn't cheat like he does, one of the main reasons he's in so much debt.

Just as lee was about to deal the next set of cards, Avery started crying from her room. Daisy went to stand up but lee beat her to it. "I'll get her sugar" lee spoke as he walked to Avery's room. Truth be told he wanted to hold Avery. His sister sandy never had any kids and apart from her being his younger sister, he had never really been around children.

He wanted a few of his own, preferably before he was thirty but he had to wait. Wait for the woman of his dreams.

Little baby Avery was rolling her head from side to side, and trying to put her fingers in her mouth. Lee gently picked her up and she instantly stopped crying, looking up at the man who held her so softly.

Lee walked back over to the sofa not breaking eye contact with Avery. The innocent twinkle in her eye as she babbled completely nonsense to him. " You wanna feed her?" Daisy asked holding out a pre made bottle. She wasn't quite sure how much Mrs Collins thought she was going to need for a few hours.

But she was great full for it. Lee took the bottle from her but hesitated. He didn't k ow the first thing about caring for a baby, let alone one that wasn't his. Daisy placed her hand on top of his, guiding him to the fussing baby.

"I wish I could be a dad one day" lee muttered, still lost in Avery's chocolate brown eyes. " You will lee, I promise" daisy whispered placing a kiss on his cheek.
