"So what do we know?" Lee asked Collins as he slumped into his chair behind his desk back at the station. The second he knew there was a development in who hit Daisy,He was Lazer focused.

"A local shop owner came forward" Collins began as he read from a statement " He served Daisy, then moments later a dark green Dodge D100 hit her and drove off"

Lee let all the new information sink in to his mind, like a puzzle piece slotting into place. A vivid image of a dark green Dodge D100 in his mind. The dint in the bonnet, the way you have to slam the door to make it close, the squeek of the tail gate.

He knew this truck personally, he saw it everyday, he heard it backfire in his mind.

"You here to tell me how much I've screwed up my life?" Daisy asked before slamming the door closed. She had taken enough shit from Maggie these past few months.

"I'm sorry" Maggie muttered under breath,"I didn't quite catch that" Daisy smirked taking a seat at the table. "I said I'm sorry!" She blurted out.

Daisy had never heard Maggie apologize in her life. "I was jealous" Maggie explained, taking a seat on the opposite end of the table.

"Of what exactly?" Daisy questioned, raising a brow, "you" grumbled Maggie. Daisy couldn't help but burst in to laughter, "me?! What the hell have I done?"

"You got the man" Maggie began "I've been in love with Lee ever since I can remember, but he never noticed me" Daisy couldn't believe what she was hearing, Maggie in love with Lee.

It was like some sort of twisted fairy tale "then you come of age and he's in your bed" Maggie sighed "I'm sorry for everything I said Daisy. I can see how happy you both are together" tears filled Maggie's eyes.

She was filled with regret for the way she had treated Daisy, the girl she treated as her own daughter. "Forgive you" Daisy whispered as she pulled Maggie into a hug.

Daisy heard a car pullin the drive and it's doors slam shut. "That must be Lee, gosh he's home early" she glanced up at the clock. Before she could open the door both lee and Colin's entered with there guns

"Hands up or I'll shoot" lee announced, both Daisy and Maggie's hands flew into the air. Both of them fear stricken to the bone. What in the name of God was going on?!

"Daisy, come to me darlin" lee softly commanded hold out his free hand, Daisy moved quicker than a flash to his side.
Lee put his arm around her, pushing her behind him.

"Maggie Larkin, your under arrest for the attempted murder of Daisy Belle"
