"I ain't taking no for an answer" lee affirmed closing his office door behind him. After last night there was no way Daisy was going back to work there. Mr Stan was lucky she had a kind heart and wasn't pressing charges. Much to Lee's better judgement.

He sat back in his chair watching her tentatively look around the room. She was a little shaken over the whole ordeal and a bit jumpy. Daisy knew she was safe with lee, "I don't wanna be a distraction" she confessed, playing with her fingers.

A nervous tick she's had since childhood, "You won't be sugar" lee smiled, tearing open the wrapper on a candy bar before picking up a file. Daisy smirked walking towards him. A sway in her hip with each step. She felt even more comfortable around Lee now she knew his feelings.

The fear of rejection, disappearing in an instant "Oh so you don't wanna kiss me right now?" She asked with a smirk, lee looked up over the top of the file in his hand. Seeing this goddess of a woman walking towards him.  "Now I didn't say that did I?" He responded, pulling her onto his lap.

Instinctively she wrapped her arms around his neck. One hand holding her waist, the other gently caressing her bare leg. His imagination running away again, as he thought that she should make her skirts shorter. Her innocence slipping away slowly.

"Now I don't expect this all done today sugar. Take your time, you work for me now" lee explained, pulling her body closer to his. Resting her head on his chest, listening to his heart beating. It was very relaxing and soothing to her.

A knock on the door brought them both back into reality. A young deputy hiding behind the door, Like he was afraid to come in. Afraid of the sheriff or what he might see? Your guess is as good as mine.

He cleared his throat before speaking, "sorry sheriff, there's a fight broken out in town and you were asked for specifically. Lee huffed before pushing Daisy off his lap, she stood in the corner like a naughty school girl. Lee grabbed his jacket from and hat from the stand she was stood next to.

"I gotta go sugar, I won't be long" he placed a sweet kiss on her cheek making her blush. "And  don't worry about the boys, they won't be bothering ya" always so protective. Lee saw Daisy as his, not that she is an object and is owned by anybody. More that she was his responsibility to keep safe and to protect with his life.

Lee sent her a wink before closing the door behind him. She sighed when she fully took in the mess she had gotten herself into. If this was what his office looked like she dreaded what his house looked like. Honestly? Lee just hated paperwork and couldn't give a shit what his office looked like. Hardly anyone ever came in.

Man had she bitten off more than she could chew. The sherif wasn't kidding when he said he hated paper work. No wonder no one could find anything they were looking for. The sheriffs office and the deputy's desk were a pig sty. What they needed was a woman to keep them in check.

Taking a deep breath she set to work, Starting with lee's desk. Disposing of all the empty candy wrappers and making a designated draw for his stash. The once empty pen pot was now full and, you could see the once hidden desk.

She did the same with the other deputy's desks, with no interference what so ever. She had a feeling Lee had a few stern words before he left. Wiping the sweat off her forehead with the back of her hand, looking up at the clock. It had only been an hour.

Time really flew when she put her mind to something. The faster the job was done, the easier it would be to maintain it. Plus she wanted to impress the sheriff with her determination, a way to prove she was worth it.

Daisy thought she had deserved a short break, just to get some fresh air before she tackled the dreaded filing cabinet's.

Stepping out side she was thankful, for the many fans that were about the office. The heat hit her like a slap to the face as she opened the door. She was great full she decided to wear a floral cotton dress with thin straps. "You better watch the sheriff, can't keep his hands to himself " a voice she'd rather not hear.

"Like most the men in this town" she muttered under her breath pushing past him. Tommy was quick to grab her wrist, Daisy froze. Her assault still fresh in her mind. "Come on Daisy D, let me take ya to the pictures tonight?" Tommy asked in a way.

The only problem was he along with the other men didn't know what the word no meant. She tried to pull away but his grip was too tight. A bruise was starting to form on her delicate skin, "your hurting me" she spoke barely above a whisper.

Where was lee when she needed him?

"And the sheriff won't? You know as well as I do all he cares about is sex and drugs" Tommy spat, pulling her closer " your just another hooker to him. You'll end up like your ma if you don't watch it" tears flooded her eyes. Why did he have to say that? She had Sheriff Bodecker to protect her, right?

His grip loosened "you'd be the perfect wife for me Daisy, I'll pick you up tomorrow 7pm" he walked away like nothing had happened. Did she just make it all up in her head? What the hell had just happened?!

She shook her head clearing her mind as her saviour came into focus.
