The wedding went without a hitch, no one was any the wiser that the bride was in fact pregnant.

Daisy left not long after the church ceremony, claiming she didn't feel well. She hadn't been herself since Maggie had been arrested for attempted murder. She was still pleading innocent.

Lee knew something was wrong but he didn't know what or how to approach the situation. He didn't fancy going to the reception alone so, he thought he would make a start on the mountain of paperwork.

It was just general reports nothing special or major. Untill he came across a witness statement from an incident seven months ago.

Why it's hadn't been filed away, he didn't know.

How a witness had found the body of Tommy buried in the woods. How there dog has digging and a hand was revealed.

He flashed back to that night. How frightened Daisy was, how she twitched in her sleep.

Maybe he shouldn't have done what he did. Tommy definitely deserved wha he got, at the end of the day no is a full sentence.one that he just didn't understand. But Daisy didn't deserve to go through everything to be proven innocent.

It was self defence end off.

Lee ran his hand through his hair. He would go to the ends of the earth to protect his Daisy.

But this report wasn't from seven months ago, it was new and not a report. It was a request to reopen the case with new evidence that had emerged.

How this evience had only just come to light, only god knows. It was seven months ago for goodness sakes. Anyway what evidence could there be?

Lee was sure to wipe the knife jammed in his chest clean. He covered up any foot prints as he walked back to the car.

A pale pink dress with a blood stain had been discovered. It was found in a bush not so long ago. Damn raccoons must of dragged it out of the trash.

The stain was now faded but still visible against the pale coloured dress. Lee didn't realise it had gone, he buried it deep under other trash.

He never thought to check after picking up the raided trash can.

There was no way they could like the dress to her could they? They couldn't ask everyone in town if they recognised the garment and who it belongs too?

But it does narrow there search down.
