Life was back to normal.

Lee was back to his old jolly self
Daisy was busy with her business
Collins was suffering of lack of sleep
I mean having a baby will do that to you.

The bell rung on the top of Daisy's door "oh god I didn't forget lunch again did I?" Daisy asked as she saw lee walking in.

He chucked to himself, she often lost track of time, enjoying her work too much "well yes but I'm here on official business" lee explained, this confused Daisy.

What official business could lee have with her? Nothing had happened that conserned Daisy.

First he placed down a brown paper bag containing her lunch that she had forgotten to pick up, then a couple of pairs of khaki work pants.

She looked up at him confused. "I'm gonna need these taking in a few inches. Either that or I'll need a new belt" he joked as she wrapped her arms around his wait. Her arms able to reach around him fully.

"Oh lee I'm so proud of you!" She beamed holding him right. Lee couldn't help but chuckle at her being all cute and supportive. "I'll start them once I've finished this rush job" she explained pointing over at wedding dress

The snow white gown hung on her mannequin, Covered in lace and pearls. "Who's getting married in such a rush?" He asked, watching as daisy continued to work. Hand stitching more lace over the side of the dress

"Mr Skelton the butchers daughter, it's next week. We've been invited" she smiled concentrating on her small stitching. "I didn't even know she was engaged" he confessed sneakinging a candy bar that sat on her desk.

Knockemstiff was a small town and news travelled faster than a speeding train. If you didn't know something, it probably involved you.

"Well it's a shot gun wedding. God I hate letting seams out" she confessed with a huff, pulling the thread in her hand tight. "That innocent little thing is knocked up?" Lee asked in disbelief

"They don't call this place knockemstiff for nothing" Daisy joked, earning a laugh from Lee. " I best get back to work darlin" Lee sighed, placing a gentle kiss on her forehead.

Leaving Daisy alone was the last thing lee wanted to do.

She didn't know it yet.

But lee had found all the letters and death threats she had tried to burn in the fire.

This was far from over
