"Daisy I know it's only been a year, but I love ya more than I could ever explain. Will you marry me?"

"No"

God lee was mad, no not mad. He was pissed. Daisy loved him, even said she wanted to be his wife. But she said no, Why the fuck would she say no? "You bitch" he spat, standing up and squaring off his shoulders. Daisy took a step back in fear, Lee had never been this angry towards her before. "I let you into my life and love you unconditionally and this is how you repay me?" He shouted, All eyes were on Lee but no one dared to intervene. Collins had his hand on his gun just in case. Tears filled Daisy's eyes as he grabbed hold of her arm, "Get the fuck out of my sight" Lee growled, Pushing Daisy away from him.

She stood there for a second before leaving the room and not looking back. "The fuck are yall looking at huh?!" Lee yelled at everyone one in the room before moving towards the counter. Slowly everyone left the diner leaving Lee on his own. He smirked knowing the plan was starting to work.

The forest just on the out skirts of Knockemstiff were cold and dark. Daisy pulled her coat around her body tightly, wondering how much longer she was going to have to wait. The wind blowing in the trees was making her uneasy. The sound of a twig snapping under someone's foot caused her to turn around. Daisy was frightened until the figure walked closed towards her, she let out a breath she was holding. "Took you long enough" Daisy nagged as she started to feel the cold in her bones. Lee pulled her into a hug and apologised "I'm sorry sugar, they took their sweet time leaving the diner", She melted to his warm body not wanting to leave. 

"Where do I go now?" she asked, tears starting to form in her eyes. She didn't want to, This plan was crazy and Lee could get killed. This wasn't a risk that she was willing to take, But there was no other choice. This was the only way to flush out the killer by hurting Daisy in front of a crowd.
"You go to my folks farm there expecting ya" Lee started to explain "Deputy Collins will escort you and my dad will protect you with his life" He promised with a smile, placing a soft kiss on her lips. "Good, you ain't got just me to protect now" She confessed looking to the floor. She didn't want to tell Lee like this. She wanted to surprise him at home where they could celebrate. But Daisy needed to ensure that Lee was going to come home to her. 

"What do you mean?" Lee asked confused as he took a step back from her, Looking at her face in the moonlight. "Lee I'm pregnant" Daisy Smiled, Finally they are starting that football team sized family he had always dreamed of.  "Seriously I'm gonna be a dad?" He questioned with a huge smile on his face. Daisy nodded as a few tears ran down her cheeks. "When this is all over I'm gonna marry you" Lee promised pulling her into another hug.

"Time to go Daisy" Collins spoke from behind her. Daisy pulled Lee down into a sweet lingering kiss. It wasn't a kiss goodbye, It was a see you soon. She climbed into the truck with Collins and kept her eyes on lee until it was too dark to see him anymore. All Daisy could do now way pray, that he was going to come home to her and their unborn baby in one piece.
