I walk into my apartment and press my back against the door, then stare into the space.

I didn't wake up this morning with the slightest idea that Aaron would expect me to move out later, for good.

I knew this conversation would eventually come when he got tired of living here, and in all honesty, I didn't think he would last this long.

I slowly walk around the room, kicking off my shoes in the process, and stop at the window overlooking the park and hospital in the distance.

This is by far my favorite part of this apartment.

It always gives me alot of peace and fulfillment just looking down at the park where people look so happy and life seems so simple, and seeing the hospital in the distance, where half of my soul finds fulfilment..I couldn't imagine ever living anywhere else in a very long, long time.

I pictured my whole life and future here.

This place has also been my true mark of real independence from my family, from my past with Vincent...When I first moved here, I had no idea what the future had in store for me, but I had such energy and zeal to move forward. This place gave me freedom to find myself.

But Aaron came along, and everything........changed.

I fell in love so completely and so incredibly fast that now, nothing makes sense without him.

El Paraiso.

Only last week I saw an article in a magazine on the top ten million-dollar mansions in the city, and it was one of them.

The enormous luxury estate described as a paradise, is going to be my new home...our home with our little one......the thought is both exciting and unnerving.

The door opens and grabs my attention, diverting my thoughts back to reality.

I welcome my occasional housekeeper, the lady that has been cleaning my apartment twice a week since I moved here, and three times since Aaron moved in, but more recently, four times a week because I'm often unwell and indisposed needing an extra hand around here.

She comes in and lets me know that Aaron already spoke to her and informed her that I was moving and needed to get my things ready as soon as possible because someone from his family's estate will soon come by to collect them.

I change clothes and we get to it, focusing mostly only on the stuff I urgently need.

"So, Kay....I understand that this has been quite sudden and doesn't give you alot of notice to adjust to the new circumstances or find another replacement job so quickly, but...."

"Oh, don't worry about that Raquel, Mr. Bishop already took care of that and paid me four months in advance and added a generous bonus on top of that." she says joyfully.
