You don't pick your pages That's how the story goes And this life is what you make it It's out of your control
You find your way, but it's never enough And though it's been tough for you Losing touch But summer has its end sometimes Although I can't promise you much You'll be fine
It's a new normal, it's up to us to live in it Not to understand it

I keep my eyes out of the window as we drive past the gate and into the estate... El Paraiso, as Aaron told me.
"It does look like a paradise." i say and Aaron smiles.
A quiet paradise..i imagine it was much more fun when all of his family lived here.
"Don't you get lonely sometimes....so much space, and so few people?" i ask him.
"Says the woman that lives alone."
""Good point" i chuckle.
"My brother and his wife will be moving here in a few months...Marco and Ella." he says.
"Oh."
"But we can keep each other company, when ever either one of us gets lonely though, right?." he suggests and i smile.
"Yep." I respond softly.
I look out the window again.
It looks so different from the last time i was here with my father.
Back then it was day time when we arrived, and i was enthroned by the mix between ancient Tuscan villa and modern medieval five star hotel that the house seems to be made of.
But the view of the estate at this time of the night, is something else... is just magical, and is another reminder at how engrossed in absolute wealth Aaron is.
We come to a stop and someone comes to open my door.
And i thought my family was Rich....
I I turn to face him and smile at the irony of the situation.
"What?" He smiles back.
"Nothing." i shrug.
"Spit it out..." He insists.
"Nothing." i chuckle.
"This is how i have lived my whole life...it's all i know....it's what's normal to the man that i am." he says.
I lean towards him and peck him on the cheek.
"I know..I kind of like the man that you are." i say and turn to exit the car.
He grabs my wrist and stops me.
"What did you say?" he ask.
"That i like who you are." i say and the lines on his forehead appears as he looks out the window.
