"In fact, I am. I'm going to visit a friend of mine in a few. Ah, also! I hoped I would've bumped into you!" Hoped? Had you really hoped? Malleus began to feel the same warm bubbles he felt when he'd chat with Yuu. Two people who weren't afraid of him... Two people who wished to talk with him.

"I had a feeling you might know how to join... The gargoyle club thing? I need a pastime and it sounds far more interesting than anything else. Do you know anything about it?" He blinked, trying to maintain his usual demeanor. Were you serious? Absolutely seriously? He felt like he was vibrating inside. He knew exactly why Yuu liked you so much now.

"I... I am the head of the gargoyle research society. I created it. Are you interested in joining?" If a keysmash could be put into words, that's exactly how malleus was feeling. A new friend AND they are interested in joining his club? He hasn't felt this happy since... since... it's been far to long for him to remember.

"Yes! Absolutely. I am more then interested in joining. Where can I sign up?" You were joining. Oh my seven. He wished he could express how happy he was for you to join but he bit them back. Malleus smiled, glancing at your arms. You kept the book as well.

"Ah, yes... Formalities. I will handle them. Consider yourself a part of the Gargoyle Research Society."

"Oh? Thank you! Let's meet here again, this Monday! I still don't the schedule and I've gotta get going, see you later Tsunotarou- Ah, that's getting bit hard for me to pronounce. May I refer to you as something else?"

Did that really happen? He had no words. No, that wasn't right. He had to many words. He wanted to chat away about you to Lilia, telling his caretaker about his new friend and the first member of his club. Plus, you gave him a new name. One personalized to your own thoughts rather than Yuu.

He wanted to talk with you a bit more. He wanted to talk with Lilia about you and how you came into his life for one day and managed to be the kindest person he's ever met. There was so much. But... A part of him felt so worried. What if he can't be everything you need? Everything you like?

He wasn't like your friends he remembered seeing you run around with. He wasn't as fun, or 'funny'. He didn't know if he could meet you standards. For some reason, despite just meeting you, despite already being fond of you, he was scared of you. Scared that he'd either scare you off or not meet you expectations.
