"You still smell like him." Yuuka murmured, rubbing a sponge over her arms. It wasn't uncommon for you to share a bath with her and Grim, especially since there was limited hot water. And limited water to begin with. Ramshackle wasn't really the best of places.

"Yuuka, it's been eight hours. Why are you still mad about Rook carrying me?" She tapped her hand blindly around the tub, accidentally picking up Grim, rubbing him on her other arm like he was a rag. He begrudgingly took it, complaining the whole time as his scent rubbed off into a something more floral.

"Yes, I, ME, I could've carried you." She huffed dropping him into the tub, grabbing soap. She rubbed it between her hands until it foamed, "Come here..."

You scooted over, knees to your chest, always avoiding leaving your back open for her to see. She interwove her fingers in your scalp, cleaning the dirt and dander of yesterday. Her hands occasionally tugged on your hair, your grumbled at the feeling.

"But why are you mad about Rook?"

"Because he's gross. And I don't think you should be trusting gross people." She was quick to reply, making you crinkle your nose. He's not as gross as other people. You knew a few who were worst. Grim barely could stand between you both, on the tips of his paws to avoid getting drowned in bath water.

"We trust Ace and he picks his nose."

"That's different."

"GYA! CAN YOU STOP ARGUING! It's getting annoying! I hear enough of that from dumb and dumber!" You felt Grim squeeze around you to avoid being man handled by Yuuka again. His ears drooped down, the little magic flames gone as he was weighed down by the water. With your free hands, you scooped him up, gently rubbing his fur lovingly.

"Fine... I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry, Yuuka... It won't happen again. I should've known better." You rolled your eyes, she pouring water over you scalp, watching the soap slowly dissipate. Grim scampered out of your arms, hopping out of the bath and shaking, standing still and stiff outside of the tub, licking down his fur even after being freshly washed.

Yuuka slipped out of the bath, wrapping herself in a towel and grabbing and extra to scoop Grim up in. She rubbed down his fur, trying to get the water out of it. She knew there wasn't a real reason to wash Grim if he was technically self cleaning... But she did so anyways when he began to smell.

She plucked the plug out of the tub, turning around, leaving you to your own devices. You shivered as the warmth left the tub, crawling out you sighed. You didn't want to do anything today. Climbing to your feet, you placed your mask back upon your face, running your hands through your hair to wringe out some of the water.

You stared at the mask in the mirror. Now that you though about it. Only one person has seen your face. Yuuka. You subconsciously grabbed a towel, squeezing it to your body as your stared in the mirror. You don't remember what your face looks like. You haven't looked at yourself. You turned around, you stared at the scars on your back in silence.

You couldn't help but feel your own emotions get caught in your throat. You always avoided showing people them. You even though you kept your back never exposed to Yuuka, you were still surprised Yuuka hasn't noticed, nor has she asked. Pulling the towel back up, you brought your hands to your face, touching the mask.

What did you look like?

You didn't remember.

You felt so... Dissociated. A soft knock on the door, letting you know she brought you clothes snapped your out of your thoughts. You had to see Vil and the Knuckleheads at the audition. You had no time to waste really, snatching the clothes up, you got ready for listening to some of the most wack performances of your life.
