Lately people's wishes have been really weird. Some normal some not. However, the one thing you began to notice is the more ambition and desire the person has the more likely it is for a star to manifest to you. Ah, which sounds complicated. No one really knows what you hear and when you begin muttering about the 'voices' you would here, some would think something is wrong.

You'd unknowingly be holding a small star in your palms when certain wishes were made, choosing to always keep them with you for it clearly was important to whoever wished it. The stars did change in size, but you couldn't care less. Your favorite wishes were the ones made from the heart, listing to them re-whisper the words when you touched them.

You could recognize some of the voices, one of the saddest ones you had was of Duece talking to himself, wishing he wasn't 'so stupid'. He was dense at times but Duece was a good person and most certainly wasn't stupid. He just had his different strengths, you were going to explain that to him one day. Until then... You'd just relisten to your newest wish as you walked to Heartslabyul.

"I wish you would stop caring about all of this... And start caring about yourself. The way you eat and hide yourself away will slowly eat away at you. You aren't valuing you life... I can't help but worry about you, brother."

Ah... That voice. It sounded familiar, but you wouldn't dive into it right now. You still had to meet up with Cater. You wouldn't bail on a fun sleepover with your friend, where you both could be lazy and enjoy some lounging together. You smiled at the sight of the rose bushes that decorated the dorm. They were so healthy and big.

But that was besides the point...
You were already at the entrance of dorm. You silently slipped inside, immediately spotting cater who looked as stiff as a rock. You immediately felt the tension in the air as Cater waved at you with a nervous look on his face.

"Where have you been?"

"Sorry, bestie... She caught me.

Oh.

You turned around to see Yuuka with her hands on her hips. You felt yourself getting ready to get chewed out verbally by her, but instead of speaking you just stayed quiet. You waited patiently for her words as she stared you down like a hawk.

"We need to talk." She motioned for you to come closer, so she could continue talking outside the Heartslabyul dorm. Yuuka's eyes held a lot of emotion, you could read them and het body language immediately. You were in trouble. You slowly stepped away from Cater, glancing back briefly for a second as you left.

Cater and you both exchanged quick glances towards each other. Then you disappeared from sight with Yuh not far from yourself. She grasped your hand as she walked you away from the dorm, muttering something to herself. Such a strong woman, you could feel it from just the grip of her hands and the light callouses that decorated certain parts of her palms.

"I was worried about you, you know." She broke the silence, still pulling you along back to Ramshackle. "You didn't tell me anything. Every since this morning, you've completely disappeared. I would've at least liked a text, you are all I have, [Name]. I don't know why you chose today of all days to worry me, if you wanted to be alone. You could've just said so."

"I'm sorry, Yuuka. I just-"

"I know what you wanted, [Name]. I understand if you want to be on your own but I need to at least know." She was starting to sound like a mom, but you didn't really blame her. You'd feel the same way if the only person who shared a similar experience to your own was just gone.

"I know... It won't happen again, I promise."

"Good... I'm sorry if I scared you, I was just looking everywhere for you today with Ace and Deuce. We were worried. We love you, you know? Just don't want you getting hurt..." You nodded, feeling her grip loosen and her hand glide down your wrist, intertwining her hand with your own. She sighed, "Hey, have you ate yet? I can make you something special if you'd like"

"I'm alright"

She gave your hand a light squeeze, swinging it back and forth, "Well, I didn't see you at lunch, nor did I see you eat breakfast. I know you must be a little hungry, let's have spaghetti tonight, okay?"

Reluctantly, you agreed. You missed your baby anyways so you weren't complaining. Grim must be worried about you as well, you knew he was despite how strong he tried to make himself seem. You glanced at your free hand, feeling it tingle with a burn, a new star appeared, whispering new words into your ears as you walked back home with Yuu.

"I wish you'd love yourself a little more. I wish you'd indulge in yourself a little more. You deserve happiness, you deserve everything. I wish you'd realize that no matter what size you are, I'll always love you.
