"Oh honestly... Why didn't you just confront him directly if you believed something was up? You've had no problems doing it on the past. What difference does it make now? Could it be... The one and only Jamil is scared?" And there he sat, Azul Ashengrotto in his private office, sitting across from an irritated Jamil.
"Don't pat yourself on the back for me asking for your assistance. This is owed to me anyways. Not to mention, you still have a favor to pay up to [Name]." Azul stopped smiling real quick, bringing his hands up to his face and resting his face on his gloved palms.
"I did a little digging myself and know exactly what you did. Nevertheless, I just need you for identifying if it's poison or not. Only reason I can't is because Ramshackle is unsafe, I must always keep an eye on Kalim." Jamil sighed, Kalim wasn't to far from him currently, he was seated in a nearby room with Jade restricted from eating or drinking a thing until Jamil was done.
"Hmph... It's not like I hadn't already agreed." Azul murmured, looking away from Jamil and back down at paperwork that he had yet to finish yet.
"Of course you agreed. You like [Name]."
"I... I feel no such thing! How could you accuse me of such a statement..." Jamil rolled his eyes, he could see it all over the merfolks face. The heavy blush that was set in, the posture that had faltered. He could read people easily and he could tell that Azul had it bad for you.
The moment was suddenly interrupted with Kalim bursting through the door, making Jamil sigh, "Jamil! I'm hungry... Can we-"
"No. We have food at home."
"But-"
"No buts. I'll make you dinner when we get home. Tonight, we'll also be having a guest visiting Ramshackle with us."
Vil blinked at the sight of Azul Ashengrotto at the Ramshackle door. He had no place being here, that was for sure. And if he wanted to take your and Yuuka's home, he'd have to go elsewhere. Azul smiled at him as Vil shut the door in his face, the sound of an audible lock made Azul's smile drop.
He heard people chatting away on the other side, "Ah, Roi du poison! Be nice! If we have a guest, the best thing to do is invite them in."
"Mmm, no. I don't think I will. Besides, we are in no place to do such a thing, Rook. Yuuka is the dorm leader and so is [Name]. The choice is up to them really. Not me, nor you. So until you get their approval-"
"I've already received that, Vil. I asked Yuuka ahead of time before I invited Azul. Let him in." Jamil cut in. Kalim annoyed at the lack of freedom he had from being glued to Jamil's hip throughout the Ramshackle dorm. Only very few moments was he let out of sight. In Jamil's mind, this entire dorm was a safety hazard. He hadn't a clue how you all lived in such a place.
Vil sighed, sending a reluctant glance towards Rook as a signal for him to go and open the door. Rook smiled, opening it with pleasure, "Roi de Fort! We welcome your presence! Are you here for dinner with Monsieur Multi-skilled!~"
Azul crinkled his nose at the sight, "Indeed I am. Thanks for the... Hospitality, I suppose." Azul stepped around him, glancing at Vil as he did. Vil only looked at him with a cold expression before forcing himself to smile.
"How lovely to see you again-"
Azul brushed past him, looking around the house and vanishing upstairs without another word. Leaving Vil in the dust making the blondes face hot, how he hated ignorant brats. He turned towards Rook who only laughed at bit at the sight.
Azul didn't even send him a second glance, he just ran off to find your room. He didn't want to waste a single second of time. If you truly were being poisoned he wanted to find out the exact cause. He was just as good as Potionology as Vil, it's not like he couldn't tell if something was out of place. Not to mention... You. The thought of you being I'll plagued his mind.
He couldn't sleep last night because of you. He had already found it increasingly hard to sleep without you already, now that you were falling prey to something, he couldn't help but feel like this was an opportunity to have things change. He wants your attention, your reliance. He'd help you no matter what. It's not like he hasn't in the past.
He had begun to speed walk through the halls in search of your room. Only to find a very stressed Yuuka standing in front of a door, she chewed at her lip, staring at the doorknob. Azul cleared his throat making her assault upon her own lips stop,
"Ah... Azul! It's great to see you again. Jamil said you might be able to find something to help her quicker then Vil. So, I couldn't let a chance like that pass by. You are... More than welcome to enter the room. Just... Try not to let them out."
"Let her out? What are they? Some animal? You haven't been trapping her in there, have you? People need sunlight and breathing room when sick. Not to be permanently bedridden." Yuuka felt her heart throb, she has. That's exactly what she's been doing, she opened the door, not saying another word. She'd save her breath for now.
Azul sent a quick glare towards her. That guilty expression already told him everything. He entered the room, shutting the door behind him as he scanned the room down for anything off putting. Only to feel his mental calculations come short, he turned towards you who had your knees to your chest, staring the the wall.
"...Dear? What's wrong? I heard you weren't feeling well." You quickly looked up at the sight of Azul, an smiled plastered upon your face despite it being unknown to Azul. You tried to get up but he raised his hand as a gesture to stop, stepping over to your bed himself.
"That's right. I haven't. I'm not exactly sure what is wrong. I've never even been sick sick before. This is... A bit new for me." He hummed in response, his gaze drifting over to a tea cup placed upon your nightstand.
"Mhm..." He hummed, deep in thought as he lifted the cup, staring at the contents and smelling them. It was normal. The tea was fine. Yet, something was off about it. He couldn't put his figure on it just yet. He placed the cup back down, turning to you with a smile.
"It's alright! I'm sure I can work something out with you to have you better in no time! For now... Let's go get dinner, yeah? I'm sure being only let out for performing is agonizing, let's have dinner with the rest."
"I wish that slimy little sea rodent would get lost. Everywhere he goes he always manages to stir up trouble. I wish he didn't have to be so irritating, sevens help me now. First, Spudlings. Second, unwanted sea blobs."
