Diasomnia was unlike anything you've ever seen, in your own world at least. It was decorated in such a medieval type way, the dim setting, gothic furniture. It seemed like something straight out of a dark academia story. Not to mention that, it, in itself, was enchanting. The green lit flames and desolate silence.
"WAKA-SAMA-"
Not so desolate silence. Sebek didn't seem to notice you, nor did the people who invited you. You only found yourself roaming the lobby of Diasomnia. Admiring all the little details while Grim lingered close behind. You knew you shouldn't have run off, but you enjoyed soaking in new sights.
Grim hopped over to large curtains draping over windows, you peaked behind them in awe, saddened by the sight. Why would they cover them up? When the sky outside was ever so beautiful. The stars... They whispered something to you and for a brief moment, you heard a voice unknown to you. Not a wish, nor dream, but someone who lingered in your mind like forgotten memories.
Trailing away from Grim you found yourself at their dinning table, running your fingers over the table cloth and lifting and out of place teacup. You wondered why everyone you met had to have them, not to mention why all of them were so fancy.
"HUMAN."
You flinched, throwing the glass into the air in response. Only for it to come down get caught before it nearly shattered.
"What are YOU doing here!? These premisses are ment exclusively for Ddd dorm members. Not to mention you are touching things that don't belong to you, are uninvited, and such a clusts you are destroying ddd property. Apologize at once. And Leave."
"I... I... I uh." You stuttered, looking around for an escape. You didn't want to start something with the horse girl. She- He might negh at you.
"Speak up!" He demanded, only for a deep sigh to escape Lilia's lips, he approached rather quickly, placing a hand on Sebek's shoulder and squeezing.
"Now, now Sebek. Be nice to our guests." He purred, he could've have Sebek ruining something he was planning. Malleus WILL have a friend and they WILL be close to the family. Not to mention, maybe... Tying these knots of friendship will allow him to see your face and know your gender.
"Wh.. what?" Sebek scrunched up his nose, flabbergasted at the words.
"Yes, dear. They've been invited by Malleus. They are our guest, so don't forget to treat them with respect... Now if you excuse me, I am making dinner for our guest." Lilia squeezed a bit harder, you couldn't see the fabrics on Sebek's clothes crinkling and Lilia's knuckles changing color from the blood rushing through them. Sebek bit his lip and pulled away, he understood, but one thing terrified him.
"Dinner?" He repeated Lilia's words, paling as he glanced over at you. For a moment, he has completely forgot why he was mad. He almost, almost felt bad for you. He was more worried for Malleus and himself. Lilia's cooking would surely give his young master a stomach ache. And Lilia wouldn't be cooking if it wasn't for you!
"Now, now! Dinner will be ready in ten minutes!" Lilia skipped out of the room like a school girl, giggling excitedly. You thought for a second, how could dinner be cooked it ten minutes? What was he even making?
A head of white hair entered the room and you felt a lump in your throat. Was that Silver? You had his number, of course. But ever once have you actually seen him in person. You've only heard and seen pictures provided by Lilia. Plus, you've only texted him once and that was at the very beginning of the new semester... when you called his dad hot.
Silver looked sleepy, holding a bunch of white plates in his hand, he began to set the table while Sebek was still frozen solid, in some type of reboot. Grim blinked at the situation, he could safely say, he wanted to go home. How could you not see how weird these people are? He thought as Silver placed a fork on the table. Absolutely devious.
Silver finished and his eyes drifted towards you, you nearly fell over. How could a human have such eyes? He tilted his head at you when you jumped, confused.
"Is something the matter?" He asked, a frown on his face as he held a few plates, "Is it not to your liking? Father told me to set these out but.. but I can change them-"
"N.. no, no! It's fine! Really-"
"AND YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE!" Sebek began, ready to start another argument as soon as he reset.
"I.." You blinked, dumbfounded. Grim did the same despite not even being able to see your face. He stuck his paws in his ears and curled up on the floor, leaning against your leg for support.
"Why is he friends with a weak, helpless, measly human like you?" He glared at you, you couldn't help but feel conflicted by his words. On one hand, they were a tad amusing. One the other, it kind of hurt to be called weak, not to mention useless. Silver had long since picked up on your discomfort and his brows furrowed at Sebek.
"...Sebek, you know better. It's not the time for this behavior. Malleus likes them you know, he's their friend. Not to mention, that isn't any way to treat a guest. After all, I'm human," He yawned, "Too."
"Silver, This is very clearly violating the safety of-"
"I will tell Malleus you are harassing his friend." Silver cut him off, only for Sebek to growl on response. The slits in his pupils thinning until a shadow loomed over him.
"Tell me what?"
"WAKA-SAMA! I.. UH-"
"DINNERS READY!"
"I wish I could leave. I don't know who I think is worse... Vil, or this loud mouth. I could go for some tuna right now. Mreow..."
