In Too Deep | Derek Hale (Book 1)

Hey guys!

This isn't a story update, but some quick info/gratitude/etc. Don't worry though, the new chapter is already nearly done, and will be published soon.

Okay, so. First of all, I really want to take a moment to scream because HOLY FUCKING SHIT?? I've written stories and fanfics since I was twelve, and none of them have ever done as well as this one. I mean, 16k reads?? Are you serious???

So, I just wanted to say thank you, for reading my silly little rambles and leaving amazingly funny comments and just showing me love in general! It genuinely means so much to me, even if this is only a mediocre werewolf fanfiction story lmao. 

I especially love reading all of your comments, some people are straight up in there doing stand up routines and comedy shows. Please keep doing that, it's a blast :D

Second of all, at some point I might rewrite or reedit some of the story. I'm not planning to finish it any time soon, and I don't want to have a billion chapters, so I might shorten some parts and make other parts longer. I'm not completely satisfied with everything, and I think some of the story could've used more description, better writing, etc. None of the major plot points or important scenes will change, it just might get a little makeover from me :))

And third of all, I have a question for y'all. Basically, when I came up with this story, I also wrote outlines for two or three other Derek Hale fanfic stories, with different main characters and different plots but the same love interest. I definitely don't plan to use all of them, but there is one story that I would love to expand and write fully. 

My question is, would anyone like to actually read that? It would focus less on the Argents/hunter lore and more on the Stilinski side, as well as the Beacon police department side (main character would be Stiles' sister). Instead of the enemies to lovers trope, it'd be more of a childhood friends to strangers to lovers type of thing, plus, the main character would be dealing with some supernatural powers, but not anything related to sirens or werewolves. 

It's hard to explain, but what I'm trying to say is that I have an idea for another Derek Hale book that is completely different to this one, in case some people dislike Mia's character or the expansive Argent plot. So if anyone would be interested in reading that, then please leave a comment or tell me so that I know if there's any point in developing that story, or if I should just stick to this one.
