Back To December / Cregan Stark out now!

"I know what she did." Davina whispered.

"What?"

"Daemon and Rhaenyra."

"What" Alicent asked.

"It doesn't take a detective to know daemon's smug I just got fucked face." Davina hissed leaning back against Fury. Alicent figured from Davinas earlier speech of you fucked Rhaenyra that it was true when neither denied it.

"Davina I'm so sorry."

"Why would she do that? After all I did for her and her children? Why... I just don't understand any of it." Davina seethed. "I guess the only good thing is they can't hurt me any more than they already have... what are they going to do... get married and run away together?" Davina choked out. "Gods they dont even care. They dont care."

"I wish there was more I could do to help." Alicent remarked.

"You see her, as she is. You have always seen it." Davina remarked stiffly. "I was stupid."

"You are not stupid, Davina." Alicent declared.

"I'm," Davina let out a deep breath as she ran a hand over her face. "I'm so fucking tired." Davina admitted.

Davina right now in this moment didn't think she hated anyone more... then she hated daemon and rhaenyra. But what good did hating them do? Hating them wasnt going to bring Harwin back. Wasnt going to restore Aemond's eye.

What difference does any of it make? Because in the end, when you lose somebody, every candle, every prayer is not going to make up for the fact that the only thing you have left is a hole in your life where that somebody that you cared about used to be.

"Come on, lets get you inside." Alicent remarked offering her a hand. When they got back Davina closed the door and leaned up against the wall closing her eyes. Why was everything so upside down? She ran her hands over her face in agony.

"What happens when the one who broke your heart is the only one who can fix it?"

"I don't know." Alicent admitted honestly.

Sometimes words are not enough sometimes words are the wrong thing entirely. Alicent sat beside Davina on the floor and wrapped her arms around Davina.

"Im really glad I have you." Davina whispered as she closed her eyes. "I dont think I would survive whats to come without you."

"What is to come?" Alicent whispered

"The unknown. That didnt used to be so terrifying to me but now it is." Davina breathed out slowly and she held tighter to Alicent.

"We will get through whatever is to come. Together."

Waking up in the morning was a blur. Davina didn't remember falling asleep but she opened her eyes seeing the early morning light coming up over the waves of driftmark.

A groan filled her as she rolled away from the light curling into the pillow's.

"Morning." Alicent whispered. Davina mumbled morning back as she burried her face in the nook of Alicents arm. "Everything will be better once we are home." Alicent remarked. Another grumbled answer made Alicent chuckle as Davina wrapped her arm around Alicent not wanting her to leave.

"I havent even opened my eyes and I want this day to be over." Davina mumbled into her.

"We can sleep on the way back." Alicent suggested running a hand over Davinas back. Hut she sat up bringing a hand to her stomach. Alicent opened her mouth to ask whats wrong when Davina got up.
