Davina Targaryen had her heart broken too many times. Maybe she was missing the person that was right in front of her all along.

"And if I'm dead to you why are you at the wake. Cursing my name, wishing I'd stayed...."

All explicit and othe...
"Whats that my love?'' Alicent questioned sitting beside Davina. She stared down at the dragon egg as Davina examined it thoroughly.
"Haven needs an egg, correction a dragon." Davina told her. "I can't wait for another baby dragon."
''Mama mama!'' Haven declared running up to them.
''Hello love.'' Davina coed shifting the dragon egg that was Aemonds from all those years ago into her lap. "What do you got there!''
''Bug!'' She declared
''That is a bug.'' Davina agreed. ''Do you know what kind of bug it is?''
''Bug!'' Haven said again.
"You have been spending a lot of time helaena have you?" Davina pondered.
"A Bug!" Haven agreed.
"Do you know what kind of bug it is Alicent?" Davina questioned and Haven held it up.
"Bug." Alicent answered with a cheeky grin, Davina smiled back at her.
''Correct but incorrect. That's a caterpillar. You see its long segments and tiny little legs.'' Davina remarked.
''Pillar.'' Haven repeated.
''Entomologist in our midst.'' Helaena remarked proudly. "I will train her myself!" Helaena was 15 and her love for insects was still going strong. Her love for human men and women was still a distant thought.
''No spiders in the castle love. Mama hates spiders.'' Davina told her. Haven nodded looking back to the caterpillar.
"You ride dragons, possibly the most dangerous dragon known to man kind and you don't like teeny tiny spiders?" Alicent teased dancing her fingers down davinas back. Davina had always hated spiders. Always.
"They have too many eyes and legs and like to trap their prey in a web and let the suffer and struggle. Before they eat them. They know they are trapped. They know whats coming and they are forced to struggle under the spiders webs knowing the fate and not being able to do anything to stop it." Davina reminded her.
"You wont get eaten." Alicent assured running his hand through her hair
"I know... but they still freak me out." Davina whispered.
"Pillar!" Haven said again as it crawled over her dress.
"Pillars are fine though. Some pillars turn into butterflies." Davina remarked. "Maybe all of them if they live long enough."
"Fly?" Haven moved to toss the caterpillar but Davina stopped her. Alicent laughed out. Haven was certainly Davina's daughter.
"Not yet... he doesn't have wings." Davina told her and Haven put the caterpillar down gently in her lap.
"I will start training her so she doesnt throw bugs out the window." Helaena assured seriously.
"You do that." Davina agreed.
"I keep him?" Haven looked between them hopefully.
"Sure..." Davina said with a shrug. Haven smiled down at the little caterpillar. Helaena was happy to have someone that shared her excitement.
"we will have to see if the maesters have any bug books for her." Alicent remarked. She wanted to do better with Haven more supportive than she had been with Helaena. Alicent had wanted her children to be perfect but Davina showed her that they were all uniquely perfect in their own way. Alicent wished she saw that sooner. "Helaena probably needs some new books as well." Alicent offered and Helaena nodded eagerly.
"Caterpillars like leaves... we could put him in a large goblet with some leaves..." Davina suggested.
"I keep!' Haven said happily. "Then fly?"
"That's the hope little love." Davina agreed.

"I see you trying to get Haven to love dragons more than bugs is working?" Alicent mused when she found Davina and Haven outside. Fury slept soundly behind Davina as Haven played with Hellfire.
"It seems appropriate. Hellfire was Harwins." Davina remarked when Haven started bonding with Hellfire.
"Maybe Hellfire got tired of you telling him he couldn't blow things up at his pleasure." Alicent mused.
"Hardy, har, har." Davina agreed and glanced to Haven slapping at Hellfire's scales as though he was a drum. "But possibly correct." Davina watched as Alicent's feet twisted in the sand. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." She answered too quickly.
"Whats wrong?" Haven questioned raising her hands up looking back at them.
"You want some cake?" Alicent pondered reaching out for Davina.
"Oh no, you think I need to be in a good mood to tell me what you need to... thats never a good sign." Davina offered her smile fell though as she met Alicent's gaze. "Oh fuck it is bad." Davina realized.
"Cake first."
Haven grabbed at her cake shoving chucks into her mouth and Davina couldnt handle the waiting game.
"Spit it out." Davina demanded and Haven opened her mouth confused. "Oh not you honey, but maybe smaller bites." Haven nodded and continued chewing. "Alicent."
"Rhaenyra and daemon sent a few dozen ravens..." Alicent offered.
"So?" Davina countered.
"They are pregnant." Alicent remarked cautiously. "I thought it would be better if you heard it from me." she added. Davina nodded.
"Good for them." Davina bit back. "May her Demonic spawns hopefully rip through her." she added taking a long drink of her wine.
"You dont need them." Alicent remarked. "You are a wise woman, and wise women refuse to be anyones victim."
"I never claimed to be wise." Davina corrected.
"You are a smart ass, bad ass, with a great ass." Alicent agreed and Davina tossed her hair over her shoulder.
"Wow, sweet talker."
"But you are wise. I didnt want this to... I think they wanted a reaction which is why they kept sending it." Alicent remarked. "I didnt want you to do-"
"Something stupid and reckless? It's like you know me." Davina agreed.
"More?" Haven questioned pushing her plate forward.
"Have mama's." Davina agreed. "i'm nauseous." Haven reached out happily for it.
"You are my best friend, you are an amazing mother, you are so much more than them. So whatever you want to do, I'm here for you." Alicent declared. "Fiery or otherwise." she added.
"Thank you." Davina answered smiling back at her.
