The soft chime of a dinner bell interrupted them and let them know that the food was ready, supper time. Davina smirked knowingly as she reluctantly broke their kiss. ALicent didnt know what that look was but she was eager to find out. Davina led Alicent by the hand into the dining room.
"What's that smile for?" Alicent questioned.
"An old friend is in town. I can't wait for you to meet him." Davina offered innocently.
"Mama your friend is here." Valyria remarked pulled her forward. "He's handsome."
"he is." Davina agreed. Alicent glanced at the table as Tommen rose up.
"Your grace." Tommen remarked bowing before her. "Dav."
"Tommen." Davina coed kissing his cheek as she hugged him. "This is my friend Tommen, you have heard me speak of Tommen right?" Davina pondered as he sat down beside her. Draeya was in love. She leaned forward giddy. "None of that." Davina corrected snapping a finger at Draeya.
"Just want to meet your friend." Draeya offered.
"Prince Tommen of the doorknobs." Davina properly introduced.
"What?" Rhaegar questioned laughing out.
~
Davina didnt know how long she was flying for, she had needed to get Daemon out of her head. So she went for a ride. She let Fury go where he pleased, when she landed in Dorne the princes greeted her.
"Princess we didnt know you were coming." They had greeted.
"Is Tommen here?" Davina questioned.
"Right this way."
"Tommen of doorknobs!" Davina declared extending her arms out. "Honey, green is your color!"
"Dav." Tommen answered hugging her tight.
"I missed you!"
"I missed you, I would have rolled out the green carpets for you if I knew you were coming." Tommen teased.
"You should have come to the capital for the wedding. I"m telling you now it was a shit show but I got very drunk and walked into a blazing fire!" Davina declared. "I'm starving, you people got food here still?"
"Yes Dav we have food."
"You are so skinny." Davina countered pinching his ribs.
"I would have a sassy comment for you but... You look beautiful as always." Tommen informed her honestly and she brought a hand to her heart.
"Fed me then catch me up on the land of doorknobs." Davina decided.
"Right this way gorgeous." Tommen agreed as she linked her arm with his.
Davina was wiping her lips of her supper when she finally locked eyes with Tommen.
"What?"
"You can't just say you walked into a fire and not expect me to just be done with that story." Tommen declared.
"It's really nothing new for me." Davina reminded him.
"Still..." TOmmen urged as he poured her a drink.
"Well lets see, I went to hell and i came back on fucking fire.'' Davina declared smugly. "Fucked a few guards, tried and failed to get him out of my head, had these really vivid dreams of murdering Daemon. Like really vivid."
"I never get any fun dreams." Tommen countered.
"I would take a mundane dream that I can't remember to these night terrors." Davina assured him. "Tell me about you. What has Prince of the doorknobs been up to." Davina requested as she leaned back into the couch tipping into him.
"Well, lets see... the doorknob industry has been quite beneficial." Tommen teased as he wrapped an arm around her.
"I bet or else we would all but stuck in our chambers in an unending cycle of do I jump out the window or break down the door." Davina added laughing as she got closer to him.
~
"Green has always been your color." Tommen mused gently.
"Dorne's colors are yellow." Draeya remarked. "Yet... greens?"
"A wise woman," Tommen remarked looking to Davina. "Once told me that yellow was not my color. Green. Green was."
"I was like 3." Davina recalled.
"And still a bossy bad ass." Tommen agreed.
"So handsome." Draeya remarked leaning closer.
"Haenry. Aemond. Control your girl." Aegon suggested.
"Control Draeya?" Haenry laughed out. "Yeah right."
"Your mum writes about you kids all the time. I'm sorry its taken me this long to come up." Tommen remarked.
"Are you staying for a long while?" Draeya questioned.
"Stay!'' Valyria agreed.
"I am." Tommen agree "Wouldn't want to be rude." and Alicent knew that voice, knew that smile, dear Gods.
"Davi..." Alicent whispered and Davina gave her a coy smile. "your friend..."
"My friend... handsome right?" Davina offered.
"Oh my Gods." Alicent rasped.
"He's a friend." Davina assured whispering in her ear. "He can also be discreet."
"Prince Tommen Martell." Alicent rasped. "i... we..." she took a long sip of her wine. "Have you ever?"
"No." Davina corrected. "But damn if I didn't think about it when I was younger."
"I was surprised you two didnt ever give it a go." Viserys remarked.
"Me too." Tommen agreed winking over at her.
"Davina is still young." Viserys offered.
"Thank you big brother. But I already promised Harwin not to ever love another man." Davina informed him.
"Shame, you two would be cute." Viserys offered.
"We would." Tommen agreed and Alicent felt a wave of jealousy as she looked at Davina and Tommen together, they had so much history.
