"I know you have this idea in your head," Davina remarked as they sat around the fire.

"What idea?" Alicent pondered.

"Don't play dumb." Davina mused. "I know how smart you are."

"Thank you a compliment and I think an insult..." Alicent remarked.

"I know it was you that spoke with viserys all those years ago to send aid to he who shall not be named at the stepstones. I was an idiot and saved his ass because I was idiotic and wish I let him burn." Davina remarked honestly. "You have the right mentality for this. You have grown up in the capital. I ran from the capital for many years-"

"You know Viserys wanted to name you hand but after everything." Alicent remarked gently.

"Probably for the best." Davina assured as Alicent held her hand leaning into her. "It would be strange actually being in charge with a title instead of just being in charge because people dont want me and Fury to dracarys their asses." Alicent chuckled kissing her neck as she pulled Davina closer. Davina saw a blast of fire come from the shores.

"HELLFIRE!" Davina shouted. "Did I tell you to do that?" He perched on the wall staring back at them. "No, that wasnt for you, why are you ease dropping?" Hellfire huffed a breath. "I love you too," Davina agreed. "We will play later."

"That's amazing." Alicent remarked watching him fly away. "You are so amazing Davina!" She gave a little bow as she wrapped her arm around Alicent's waist. "I make an order no matter what species you best sprint, right Criston?" Alicent stiffened anxiously. "Gods your face when you thought we were not alone." Davina coed kissing her temple.

"Dont do that." Alicent begged. "That was terrifying."

"I terrify." Davina agreed. "But back to this stupid idea." Davina remarked. "Alicent, Aegon will not be king. Not ever."

"I wasnt-" Alicent countered.

"You were. I'm not letting Rhaenyra and Daemon the douche take over the realms." Davina remarked confidently. "When the time comes I think Aemond should take the throne."

"Aemond is the second son, my second son." Alicent reminded her.

"Aemond wants it more than Aegon." Davina corrected. "A king, a leader that doesnt want the crown makes mistakes and gives power to the wrong people." Davina reminded them. "He has that good mentality of war but also preventing war. He is so smart, so skilled. I want to mold him into the next king." Alicent blinked back at her.

"Davina, Viserys already deemed a new heir."

"What? When?"

"Before Haven was born." Alicent remarked. "He-"

"Who?"

"He didnt say." Alicent informed her.

"What do you mean he didnt say?" Davina countered.

"He said he wanted it to be done as it was before. A big reveal before he dies. But he wanted it written and dated now so the people knew he was sound of mind." ALicent informed her. "Davina I think he saw, I think he saw Rhaenyra being difficult and how you lead the boys. I think he made the right choice. We wont need to usuper the crown. Viserys gave his blessing to a new heir."

"Who though?"

"He didnt tell anyone." Alicent repeated. "Viserys is... fading though now more so it seems." Alicent agreed.

"His teas are helping but he spends more time in the bath then Haven on my teat and she loves my teat." Davina remarked tipping her head into Alicent.

"I want him to be comfortable." Alicent remarked.

"As do I. He is my brother. When we were little he was my whole damn world." Davina assured. "I don't... I dont want to lose him."

" But it will happen. If Viserys chose Aegon or Aemond we need to prepare for the backlash of Rhaenyra and Daemons fury."

"I think you will find my fury is greater." Davina assured her.

Daemon married Rhaenyra for one simple reason. He wanted to be king. Rhaenyra was the heir.

Rhaenyra wanted that love that Davina had and Daemon charmed her into thinking that she had his love.

"I'm going for a ride." Rhaenyra remarked pulling out of bed. Daemon nodded already distracted.

Rhaenyra half expected Davina to hate her, kill her but Davina stared back at her silently as Syrax landed. She didnt even know what she was doing at the capital but Davina saw her coming. Wanted to rip her apart but something stopped her.

"Do you love him?" Davina questioned curiously. Rhaenyra sucked in a breath as she stared back at Davina. She should not have come, this was stupid. But she wanted to see Davina, to show her that she was happy, in love. That Rhaenyra could have it all. The crown, the husband, the perfect family but seeing Davina now, Rhaenyra didnt feel so strong.

"Rough around the edges, stops you in your tracks... Wrecks you in the worst way, when he looks like that, knocks you down, but he keeps you coming back for more." Davina remarked calmly.

"I love him more than anyone." Rhaenyra agreed.

"You can wrap your arms around him, but you can't make him stay... All the bad ones say they're good until you are crying on the bathroom floor. I thought you were smarter than this but I guess I was wrong." Davina remarked. "I remember dancing in the starlight, then he left me crying in it too... I thought you saw the pain he put me through. But clearly he tricked you into believing he was in love."

"Harwin however..." Davina went on "he made my heart feel like dragons wings are beating in my chest. And just being with him I felt love drunk completely sober, and higher than that moon..."

Rhaenyra didn't feel that with Daemon. She couldn't look at Davina.

"He's dead. Harwin is dead." Rhaenyra reminded her.

"So, when you get that feeling, if you ever get that feeling, I hope you hold on tight... because your enemies will smile pretty as they stab you in the back." Davina warned thinking of Larys as he killed his own family.

"A threat Davina?" Rhaenyra sassed.

"Nonsense, I do not go behind people's backs and torture them. I like my enemies to look me in the eye and see the depth of my rage." Davina declared as Syrax hoovered feeling Rhaenyra's anxious grip on her back. "Safe trip home. I won't be so nice next time Rhaenyra." Davina warned.
