Alicent thought Davina was joking when she suggested finding Alicent a lover. Davina was not.
"I'm a great matchmaker." Davina assured as she peered out over the knights.
"Davina," Alicent whispered.
"Lets see, discreet, handsome, what is your type?" Davina mused.
"I dont know." Alicent whispered with a shrug but she knew. Tall, beautiful, slim but defined muscles and curves silver hair and violet eyes. Fearless and brilliant, the goddess of a woman standing in front of her.
"Yes you do, you fancy someone." Davina corrected.
"I have been married since I was 15." Alicent corrected hiding her blush.
"And I went from being in love with the ferret like devil since I was a child to tall dark and glorious Harwin." Davina remarked as Jace came stumbling into her legs. "I'm here for you, always. You are my sister after all. I always wanted a sister."
"Really?" Alicent asked locking eyes with her.
"Nope." Davina admitted with a smirk. "Hey handsome." Davina scooped him up. "But if I did want a sister, she would be just like you." Alicent felt her heart warm at Davina's words. "The now you that loves and worships me. Not the before you." Davina clarifed with a wink.
"I like this me better too." Alicent agreed.
"Yeah you do." Davina agreed with a smirk that Alicent could have interpreted as many things many spicy and glorious looks. But she knew she was imagining things. Davina loved Harwin.
"My dragon auntie Dav." Jace declared. "It's hatching!" Davina was one tracked minded when it came to dragons and cake.
"Lead the way!" Davina declared and Jace pointed a finger back inside. "I love that you got me." Davina remarked kissing his head. "GAEL!" Davina demanded. "Get your ass over here."
"Davina calls you best sprint." Criston informed him seriously.
Alicent couldnt understand how Davina was so okay with Rhaenyra's disobedience but then she remembered who Davina was.

It had become a tradition that Davina would sit by the bonfire at night with Harwin and Alicent would join them. They clinked glasses of wine as they stared into the fire.
Alicent felt more comfortable at night being more open with Davina. She felt like there was a little sanctuary they had created. During the day Rhaenyra spent more time with Davina, all the children got along semi reasonably. Daeron and Jace were still butting heads.
Alicent debated sending him away but Davina got up from Harwin's lap, took the glass from Alicent threw it in the fire, it sparked to life as the glass broke and the wine fueled the fire.
"No." Davina said confidently.
"Rhaenyra and I don't get along." Alicent remarked. "I thought the boys could have a fresh start but it seems our unspoken hatred has followed our children."
"So sending him away is our option?" Davina countered. "No."
"I just want him to feel happy here and... I'm not doing a good job protecting him." Alicent murmured.
"Sending him away is not our option." Davina corrected. Alicent liked that Davina said Our. As though Daeron was her baby too. Their boy. Alicent supposed he was in a sense. Everyone called Davina mama Dav.
"Sending him away is stupid. You want to be strong-" Davina chuckled smiling back at Harwin before looking at Alicent. "You don't send them away. I know you and Rhaenyra will never be good again but honestly..." Her words trailed off as she heard little footsteps.
