"Are you okay?" Alicent questioned.

"Mum and Daemon are going at it." Haenry remarked and Alicent peered around the corner to see Daemon stomping down the hallway. Davina tipped her head up to the ceiling.

"I got her." Alicent offered but Draeya grabbed her hand.

"I'm glad she has you." Draeya remarked honestly. "i'm glad we all have you aunt Ali." Alicent felt her heart swell with pride.

"I'm glad to have you." Alicent remarked giving her hand a squeeze.  "Davi?"

"Pain makes you stronger fear makes you braver heartbreak makes you wiser. Love makes you dangerous." Davina whispered.

"I know it must hurt seeing him." Alicent said as she grabbed Davina's hand.

"That's the thing about family, the more you love them the more it hurts when they go. Let me demonstrate." Davina offered. "Two dragons in a war. One joins the blacks and the other joins the greens... in the end there are too many casualties."

"Casualties." Alicent rasped.

"Thats how this ends." Davina remarked looking to Alicent. "I die or he does. Unless he moves to the other end of the world again and I never have to see him or think about him. Banishment. Lets do that then we can both live."

"Lets go for a walk, see the stars. It's late... that will help you clear you mind." Alicent offered.

"You know me so well." Davina agreed.

''I guess they call it falling, because you end up on the ground. You can't live forever with your head up in the clouds. Think it's written in the stars until they burn out.'' Davina sung out softly as she stared up at the stars.

"Mama," Draeya whispered laying beside her on the ground. Haven had fallen asleep in her arms. Haenry sat down beside Draeya.

"Hi honey." Davina tipped her head to Draeya.

"I heard what you and he who shall not be named were saying earlier." Draeya remarked, Haenry nodded softly.

"I'm sorry babies, you didnt need to hear all that." Davina rasped, a sigh escaped her as she closed her eyes.

"I'm sorry you have to deal with him." Haenry countered. "He is a monster."

"Devil incarnate." Draeya agreed.

"Demonic spawn." Haenry said nodding.

"Satan himself perhaps." Draeya remarked as Haenry kissed Davina's cheek.

"Thank you babies for cheering me up." Davina remarked leaning into Draeya as Haven shifted in her arms.

Davina saw the similarities between Daemon and herself and her own twins but she also saw the differences. Haenry loved Draeya, he took care of her. He put her first, made sure she was okay, worshipped the ground she walked on even when Draeya was pinning after Aemond some days.

"You two are the best, the best big siblings, the best young lady and man around." Davina remarked. "I know your dad would be proud of the people you are becoming."

"Thanks mum." Haenry replied and Draeya sat up looking around. "Oh, we are doing that talk." Haenry realized.

"What talk?" Davina countered confused.

"You and aunt Ali talk." Draeya remarked and Davina nodded looking back up at the stars.

"Okay." Davina agreed.

"I know you love her." Draeya remarked. "She's family, I know people dont really... like it... like us to fit in boxes but you told us to be ourselves. You shouldnt have to hide."

"You are a wise woman Draeya. But its complicated." Davina remarked.

"I know... but," Draeya shrugged. "We want you to be happy. Aunt Ali makes you happy."

"She does." Davina agreed. "But you understand why for many reason we have to keep quiet."

"I do." They agreed.

"We love you. We are not fit in boxes kids." Haenry remarked. "We just wanted you to know. We know and we are cool with it." Davina smiled as she sat up hugging them to her. Haven grumbled in her lap.

"Best kids ever." Davina declared. "Thank you. I love you." She pressed a kiss to both of their foreheads before picking Haven up. "And its past this ones bed time." Davina remarked. "Dont stay out too late." Davina instructed as Haenry held to Draeya's hand staring out over the water, the moonlight and stars sparkling off the little ripples in the waves.

Davina tucked Haven in and she blinked awake, a yawn on her lips before falling back asleep. Davina ran a hand over Haven's head, brushing her hair from her face. She couldnt believe Haven was five, it had been six years since Harwin. Six years since Daemon... and Rhaenyra and yet the pain felt fresh.

Davina made her way to her chambers only to see Alicent sitting in bed reading quietly, the candle flickering beside her.

"I saw Haenry and Draeya head out, I didnt want to interrupt." ALicent remarked.

"They gave their blessing for us." Davina informed her as she got changed, pulling at her rings tossing them in a the hand made dragon egg bowl Haezel and Vaera had made her years ago for her name day. She unwove the little braid from her hair as she climbed in beside Alicent.

"I love our children." Alicent declared. "They make me feel like a good mother."

"You are a good mother." Davina assured as she blew out the candles.

"Not as good as you."

"Well its not a competition." Davina teased. "I missed you today." Davina whispered as Alicent kissed her shoulder.

"I missed you... They leave tomorrow." Alicent reminded her.

"What the fuck am I going to do?" Davina rasped.

"What do you want to do?" Alicent countered turning in her arms.

"Kill Daemon, brutally and viciously. Rhaenyra too." Davina admitted.

"Do it." Alicent agreed and Davina chuckled bringing a hand to Alicents face.

"I love you so much." Davina declared.

"I love you."
