Ellie woke me up early in the morning
Of course, her mood was anything but good.

"Do we have to leave so early?" I said pouting.

"yes" then she started to wear me up and told me to put on my jacket and then come out

I came out when she was ready packed with a horse in front of me

"sooo where is my horse?"

"We only have one soo you have to sit behind me"

"Oh okay" I smiled uncertainly

"Or do you want to run after me like a dog?"

"No no everything is fine calm down I said it's okay" She nodded and got on the horse

"Come now and hold on tight" I nodded as I sat up behind her and put my arms around her waist.
She cleared her throat as if she wanted to say something but finally she rode off

"Valerie?" Someone shook me slightly

"Huh?" I opened my eyes

"You fell asleep, but we made it to the first stop" Ellie said in a rough voice.

"Oh eh yes sorry, but how long will we stay here?" I quickly stood up

"I only think the night maybe 'til tomorrow noon but then we have to keep going" I was surprised because she talked to me never anything happend

after a while we made it a little comfortable around us , well as good as it was possible
ellie lit a fire to give us some warmth

"ellie?"

She immediately turned around

"Is everything alright? is your wound okay?" she asked me in the same moment.
It sounded like she was worried or am I just imagining it?

"mhm, but i wanted to apologize again, I know you will still hate me but at least accept the apology, please?" She looked like she was thinking
then she let out a sigh.

"I don't hate you" she murmured as she sat down against the wall next to me.

"come on ellie, but you almost killed me " she turns to me and gave me those beautiful eyes

"there was just so much anger.."

"it felt much more than just the anger" I looked back at the fire

"I don't know if I can forgive you, but I know i definitely don't hate you" a small smile flitted across my face as she said this

"why are you smiling?" she asked

"because of you?"

"mh do i can still make you smile after all?

"hm.. i guess you can" i can feel her smirking at me
Why do I get nervous?

"you good? am I making you nervous huh?"

"i- ellie!" i chuckle as i look at her and i was right she was smirking at me
i gave her a little bump against her shoulder

"what?" she suddenly sits down in front of me and holds my chin so that I look directly at her

"are you flirting with me?" I say in a hoarse voice

"am i?" she leans forward near my ear
"you are really beautiful you know that?" she whispers

she takes her hand away

"lets go to sleep." she says with a dry voice as she stood up and laid down next to me

"i said let's go to sleep"

"yeah i- i got that" she better be joking

"goodnight have sweet dreams" she looked at me one last time before turning around.

"mhm night?"
i couldn't fall asleep no matter how hard I tried
i had to think about what happend between me and her
i felt a spark
suddenly i heard a noise

"fuck-" i mumbled to myself as i frightened

ellie woke up
apparently she had heard me

"be quiet, i wanna sleep." she groans

"but I heard something"

"mhh and what was it?"

"i don't know"

"you don't know? then go to sleep"

"i can't sleep"

"god valerie" she sat up and rubbed her eyes

"how long are you still awake?" now she looked at me with a sleepy face

"since you went to sleep?" i said

"and why can't you sleep??"

"because- anyway because of the situation from before?" now she gives me that 𝒈𝒓𝒊𝒏 again.

"valerie?"

"Did you hear it?"

ellie and i got up and she took her gun and walked around a few meters to see if there was anything there.
suddenly I felt a hand on my mouth as I tried to turn around I looked into abby's eyes.

"don't make a single sound or you're dead"she whispers near my ear she dragged me after her

"val?-" i saw ellie turn around and immediately aimed at abby
