Every time I tried to go back to where I and ellie had separate from each other , abby stopped me from doing so, I don't even know how much time had passed since I last felt ellie's hand in mine
I imagined the worst theories

"she'll find you" abby slid closer to me as we sat in the sand of the beach

"but what if she can't? so i need to find her first and probably save her otherwise she would be here already" I rested my head in my hands and began to think about what abby had told me just before
And I realized that maybe it was Abby's plan

"val.."

"don't you dare to call me like that"

"sorry?"

"but by the way i think its a little weird you just showed up and everything went downhill, was that your plan?" i turned my head so I could look at her, I saw her hesitating

"uh no? i was literally there to warn you, but it was too late" It didn't come across as credible how she said that

"Everything doesn't make sense anymore, first you let me go then this whole shit with my mom and now my girlfriend is gone"

"girlfriend.. i see" That was the only thing she said when she got up and took me with her
When she grabbed me by the arm and dragged me to some old beach house, I kept thinking about it
She must have planned it
As evening came, tiredness came over me
Abby let me sleep on the armchair by the fireplace, she told me that she would keep being awake and wake me up, so I decided to close my eyes and rest a little
It was the middle of the night when I woke up, so I got up and wanted to let abby know that I could take a break and that I would keep watch next
But she was nowhere to be seen and immediately I went out and saw her going back where we came from

"where are you going?" I ran the last few meters to her and stood in front of her

"I just needed a little fresh air" Her gaze looked serious

"don't lie, come on this was all your plan, you did that all just to kill her in the end right? "

"i..."

"right?!"

"you are fucking crazy" I was about to yell at her again, but when she uttered these words, I couldn't breathe and just stared at her

"Mhmm" it felt like I was about to pass out again, but I tried to pull myself together, so I took my eyes off her and slowly began to walk past her, while her sentence kept repeating itself in my head

"no fuck valerie i am sorry" She ran behind me and put her hand on my shoulder to turn around, but I tore myself away and walked on to the beach house
When I reached the door, Abby took me by the shoulder again, turned me around so that she pushed me to the door and looked at me as if she wanted an answer, but I couldn't give it to her;

"now what?"

"i said i'm sorry" She still had her grip firmly on my shoulders

"And you think that changes anything about the fact that you made me look insane?" When these words left my mouth, her grip tightened and she pushed me against the door once again
I couldn't breathe for a moment

"Maybe that's what I thought, yes... why do you have to be so complicated?" she lowered her gaze, at the same moment the door broke down and we fell backwards, she was already bracing herself when our eyes met, it didn't even take a few seconds and she got up again immediately, I did the same, I watched her the rest of the night and I noticed that she seemed nervous, even though she was now sitting on the chair, she could just don't keep still and I wondered why
But I didn't want to speak a single word to her either, because her sentence still prevented me from doing so
I actually waited until she would fall asleep so I could finally look for ellie, but she just didn't want to fall asleep

"So you'll never talk to me again?" she broke the silence between us, I didn't answer
So she got up again and came up to me again
I took a few steps back

"maybe, whatever"

"no not whatever, i know i can be harsh but come on i said sorry"

"yeah sorry is a word but do you mean it" When I asked her, she took another step towards me

"Hmm, do you think i mean it?"

"seriously? I will go and look for ellie now. with or without you" i ran out and went to the adjacent forest

"I'll come with you"
