i saw how anxious she got

"what are these" i ran my fingers over the scars on her thigh

"uhm..well.."

"you can tell me"

"i used to you know.." her voice became quieter and i noticed that the mood changed as i had expected

"mhm" i don't want to say anything wrong so I only managed one mhm

"i didn't think you would see it, I'm sorry" when she said that, she sat up and dropped her head into her hands

"no god i still think you are beautiful even with all your flaws" i also sit up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"I'm sorry" I heard a sob in her voice before she completely collapsed i tightened my grip and wanted to give her a feeling of comfort

"calm down" her breathing slowed down again
i gave her a kiss on the side of her neck

"i wanna go" i let go of her and she got up to put her pants back on as well as her shirt
when I was about to do the same thing she disappeared from the barn

"val wait" i ran after her

"I don't wanna talk, not right now okay?"

"but- come on" i stopped and gave up to run after her
i saw from a distance that she entered the house and slammed the door behind her
I sigh when I entered the house as well

"val?" no answer "come on where are you" still no answer
so I went upstairs to see if she was there
I knocked on all doors when I arrived at the bathroom i heard the familiar sobbing
i tried to open the door but it didn't work

"valerie, open the fucking door" I heard a click in the door lock immediately i went in she sat in a corner of the bathroom
she looked up at me and her whole face had already turned red
so I knelt down and looked at her.

"what?"

"please stop crying there is absolute no need for"

"i can't"

"why?" i ask

"because those scars are making me less pretty"

"shut up i already told you that you are still beautiful" i tried to take her in my arms first she resisted then gave in and let herself fall into my arms.

"wanna go to bed?"

"mhm" i helped her to get up and we went to the bedroom together.
she was already laying in bed as i was about to go

"ellie, you know i want you to stay here with me"

"oh is that so?" she gave me a light smile while nodding
I lay down next to her, she slid closer and laid her head on my chest

"goodnight" she said

"night"

the following morning i already woke up while she was still sleeping
i admired her 
after a while she flinched a few times and mumbled something I didn't understand.
she startled as woke up
and looked at me completely frightened

"shh i got you.. i got you a bad dream huh? wanna tell me about it" i placed my hand on her cheek

"the scars they will find us" she said in a frightened voice.

"you know it was only a dream, no need to worry we are here save, they can't hurt you" 

"but because of me they might come back"

"but not now and if the time comes we gonna be prepared okay?"

"if you say so?"

"yes i do and actually there is something else i wanna ask you"

"and that is?"

"can i take you out tonight?" i see how her eyes lights up und she looks at me and there it is the spark
