i woke up to the noise of the weapons that ellie was reload

"good morning to you too" I rubbed my eyes, she sat with her back to me

after a while she took her backpack and unpacked a bite to eat

we finished and it was already dark and we made ourselves a "bed"

"have you heard voices again lately?" when I heard the question I got a bit nervous because I started thinking about it again.

"oh.. It was not my intention to make you overthink again" she took me in her arms and kissed me on the forehead and now my thoughts were normal and clear again.

"and what about tomorrow?"

"i don't know, we will continue to travel to lure them as far away as possible" she answers
