i watched valerie disappear with jesse on the dance floor, I smiled to myself as she started dancing
she looks beautiful doing that
suddenly, dina tore me out of my thoughts by standing next to me.

"she's amazing am i right?"

"mhm yeah right" I didn't even look over at dina but kept watching val

"i'm sorry for yesterday you know i didn't-"

"doesn't matter"

"ellie hear me out"

"alright i'm listening" i was still standing at the counter and turned to dina while taking a sip of my whiskey

"look, i overreacted i know that, but why all of a sudden her?"

"i already told you, i don't wanna talk not about her" dina still looked at me hurt

"i just don't understand we could've had a family"

"dina, please stop i am sorry okay, i still love you" my stomach cramped at what I said
it was total bullshit

"and you already said that but thats not even true god, ellie" she sighs "I have to admit she is perfect for you, but remember when we were here dancing?"

"yeah i still remember.. " memories came up of how me and dina had our first kiss but before I could even think about it any more i saw how valerie came towards me.

"wanna dance?" she looked at me with a smile and held out her hand to me.

"i'm not a good dancer"

"i don't care, come on" she grabs me by my  hand and pulls me after her

"oh a new one?" i turned around and it was the man from some time ago who said also said something to me and dina

"not again"

"ignore that ellie" val said to me so I did
he still made some stupid comments but I tried to suppress my anger
i now stood in front of her and she looked into my eyes as she put her arms around my neck so I placed my hands on her waist

"i hate this man, if could i would kill him for that shit he said again"

"stop and calm down he is not worth it, and now lets dance a little" when she said that, she started to stand closer to me and started dancing slightly. 

"you look mesmerizing by the way"

"me? I look like always" she said as she looked at me in amazement.

"yeah you"

"well i wanted to ask what you and dina were talking about" I didn't know exactly what to answer

"not important" I said afterwards and I saw how her mood changed a little

"alright" she just wanted to deviate from me when I pulled her to me and kissed her
in a room full of people like dina did with me
she returned the kiss and I felt a smile form, between the kisses.
After a while, she pulled away

"you just kissed me in a room full of people" she sounded overwhelmed 

"yes and? i felt you liked that or am i wrong? "

"i did, but literally infront of everyone? "

"not many of them were looking at us sooo"

"but still i never experienced something like that" i chuckle as she said that
and gave her another kiss on the cheek
when I looked at her again, I saw her cheeks flush

"someone is blushing" a grin appeared on my face

"don't look at me" she giggled as she shook her head slightly.
about a few minutes passed in which we just continued dancing

"val?"

"yeah?"

"i guess its getting late and we should go back i wanna spend some time alone with you"

"how should I understand that?" 

"the way you want to understand it" I started grinning

"well then I'll come soon, you can go ahead"

"and what are you doing in the meantime?" i gave her a questioning look

"i want to get something to drink and dance a bit that won't take long" she looked over to the counter where there drinks were 

"and you're sure I can leave you here alone?" I asked again as a precaution

"of course, I need to meet new people anyway and I promise you, it won't take long"

"alright" for a goodbye I gave her was a kiss on the forehead
I went home I didn't really have a good feeling about leaving her alone
as i arrived i let myself fall on the sofa
10 minutes passed that 
then 10 minutes turned 30, and she still wasn't back.
slowly I became restless and worried
so I got up again and was about to put my jacket back on when the door knocked.
as i opened it stood valerie in front of me and fell into my arms completely exhausted

"what the fuck happend?"
