I woke up with a pounding head as I wanted to sit up but a sharp pain ran through me, I guess I slept in an uncomfortable position
in the end I sat up anyway and rubbed my eyes and slowly everything came up again what happened last night
Next to me the place was empty, I was afraid that deliah would do something to ellie like she did to me
As fast as it went in my condition I stepped out of the tent and when i looked to the fireplace who do i see?

I calmed down when I saw her, she returned my gaze and came towards me

"good morning babe"

"morning" I let a little smile ran across my face

"i don't have much time i'm gonna search for some stuff in the hospital alright?" she asked

"what stuff?"

"nothing important just stay here I'll be back in a few hours" i couldn't say any more, then she gave me a kiss on the forehead and went in the hospital
I wondered what this was all about, something feels strange, so not much later I walked after her, she went through many different corridors and we went further and further into the basement, the lights were very dim, fof sure I wouldn't have seen her again if she hadn't had a flashlight with her, she entered a room, at the end of the corridor, I was about to slip through the door when a hand landed on my mouth and another arm turned me around, I had closed my eyes for a moment and wanted to scream, but when I opened my eyes I saw

"abby? what? how?" I was completely confused, how had she found us, did the time come for her to kill ellie?

"you need to listen to me alright?" she asked me in a somehow more worried voice

"please don't kill her, not yet" I had placed my hand on hers holding my arm

"i'm not here to kill her, well not now but look i need to tell you something.." when she said that, my heart stopped racing
atleast she doesn't want to kill her

"spit it out abby"

"well i had a deal with.. your mom" she lowered her gaze to the ground and I let go of her hand

"you had what?.. why?"

"When you ran away after the betrayal you committed, I was on my way to your mother to tell her everything and get her help, but it didn't all go as I wanted, Deliah is not just some girl who lived here her whole life, she had been tasked with finding you and telling your mom as soon as she found you, after that happened and she had completed the mission, she wanted something i don't really know what exactly, she also has some obsession with ellie and was watching you the whole time, she knew you were going to come here, so she made it all look like she lived here.
I was in contact with your mother until a day ago to give her information about you and ellie in return, she lets my people live and offers us protection for the upcoming war" She had to take a deep breath once, but I just stared at her

"first of wow second of wow, i don't know what to say honestly abby" I took a few steps back, but she came with me and didn't let go of me

"i'm sorry, but now i'm here to warn you, you have to get out as soon as possible." I tore myself away from her, left abby in place, and ran into the room where ellie was and saw her sitting at an old desk reading a file
of course, she heard the door shut and turned around

"why are you following me?" She stood up and walked up to me, but not with a very loving look

"I was just worried"

"I told you to wait there, why don't you listen to me?"

"because I'm not a dog and I don't understand what's wrong with you either" as an answer I only got an eye roll

"alright val, you wanna know what I'm doing here, right? well, I'm examining documents to find something about this deliah."

"that doesn't matter what you doing, but we need to go far away from that place now" now she looked at me confused

"why?"

"because deliah wants to kill me and probably wants to do some experiments with you, so come now before everything gets worse" I tried to explain it as best I could in a quick way

"but how do you know all this so suddenly"

"ellie, we don't have time to talk about it now" I took her by her wrist and pulled her behind me, we ran back to the ground floor and in the middle of the corridor stood deliah

"where were you going?" she asked and pointed a gun at us

"fuck.." ellie murmured to me and the next moment we ran out into the woods until soon j noticed i didn't feel ellie's hand in mine anymore, so I turned around and didn't see her, she was gone..
through the adrenaline that accumulated in me I kept running until I hit against a muscular chest
I looked up and Abby was standing in front of me again

"come with me"I couldn't say anything more when she took my hand and ran off with me, I don't know how much time had passed, but we arrived at a beach

" i need to find ellie"
