Chapter 7

"Hello?" Atticus' husky voice answered the phone.

"You're a coward. Did your Beta tell you that?"

"Yes, I got the message." he huffed.

"Then you'll be glad to know I had expected that to happen," I lied. I heard him stop breathing.

"I placed a tracker on Laura, moron."

"How?" He growled.

"I may have stabbed it into her, but that's not important now. You will meet me at the clearing this time or I track Laura and kill her. Got it?" I asked. I heard a snarl.

"You sneaky little son of a-"

"I'll meet you there, then! Come alone. Five o'clock sharp," I yelled out and hung up.

"Damn." I said, and headed to the gates of heaven.

Gates of heaven? Yep, the fridge.

I opened up the fridge and looked for anything good to eat.

Oh! There's yogurt! Yogurt sounds good.

I took the cup full of yogurt and took a spoon.

I walked over to my laptop and opened it up, waiting for the piece of crap to turn on.

I heard the noise that indicated it was on and set my half eaten yogurt cup down. I quickly typed in my password. As soon as I was logged on, I quickly pressed the icon that would lead me to where Laura was.

She was at a coffee shop? Seriously? She just got kidnapped and friggen stabbed and she's decided to go get friggen coffee?

I rolled my eyes. I noticed that she was not alone.

She was with other people.

I smirked, knowing exactly what I would be doing in ten minutes.

~*~*~*~*~*

I stepped in the coffee shop, heavily perfumed with some sort of type of masking scent spray that smells good.

I walked to the back of the coffee shop and sat down. I took out a book that has a camera in the front.

No, I'm not recording them. Did I forget to mention there was a screen that shows me what the camera sees? Yeah, I'm spying on them.

I held my book up and turned on the camera.

There's four people here with Laura. Five in total.

I could take two of her friends. They don't seem of any importance.

I nodded and shut the book before putting it down.

I took out a paper and started to write down a plan.

It took possibly three minutes until I had a full plan written down. I picked up the book and opened it again.

Why write it down? To memorize it.

I watched them for around thirty minutes until Laura finally decided that she needed to pee.

She took her time walking to the restroom, but once she went inside to pee, I shoved my things into my bag and stood up.

I stood up and grabbed my bag. I walked over to her friends, smiling a nervous smile at them. They gave me friendly smiles.

The plan is now in motion.

"Hi! I'm Skylar! Could you guys please help me?" I asked with a friendly voice. They smiled at me.

"With what?" Asked a blond girl.

"Well, I had to do some book research right now, but I'm done. I need to head over to the public library.. But I have no idea how to get there," I said with an embarrassed tone laced into my voice. Oh these dumb bimbos are falling for my amazing acting skills so easily.

"Yeah! Okay you're gonna go straight and then take a right. Then you're gonna keep going straight and you're gonna take a left. Then the library should be there," one spoke. I made a confused face. They all laughed.

"Do you need one of us to help you get there?" the blond one asked. I nodded, a relieved sigh escaping my lips.

"I'll take you! I'm Nora," A blue haired girl spoke, giving me a friendly smile.

Nice hair color, I thought.

"I guess I could accompany you as well," spoke a shy looking girl.

"I'm Brittany." She said with a small smile. I smiled back at her, but mentally rolled my eyes at her shy attitude.

"Tell Laura we'll be right back," Nora told the blond. The blond nodded and the girl beside the blond nodded as well.

We started our walk to the library. I made sure that there was no one around until I quietly dug my hand in my bag. I took out a small metal ball and pressed the button on it. I threw it without the girls noticing and quickly covered my nose.

The girls breathed in the smoke and stopped. They turned to look at me. I let my hand go, but still held my breath as I smirked at them.

"You're a hunter," Nora realized, her eyes starting to close as the fog made them want to sleep.

"Yes I am," I laughed. I looked around for my car and spotted it near by. I dragged both girls into my car and shoved them in.

Don't even ask about how no one was there. Must have been luck.

I turned on the radio and listened to the song Fortune Days by The Glitch Mob while I drove to the hotel.

I finally reached the parking and called the manager.

"I need help getting these wolves to my room," I said to the low ranking hunter. He nodded at me and called in his assistants. I headed up into my room and opened up the doors, letting the men drop the girls on the floor. As soon as they left, I took one girl and tied her up to the chair Laura had sat in. Nora was her name. I took Brittany and put chains around her body, making sure she wouldn't be able to escape the chains.

I sat down on a couch and started watching them, waiting for them to wake up while humming along to Fortune Days.
