I stared at the phone in my hand. I looked over to Atticus and noticed the dark look on his face.
"Danny? Who the hell is Danny?" He asked.
I rolled my eyes.
"Out of all the things my dad just said, that's all you got out of it?" I practically shouted.
"Well?" He asked.
"Who cares who Danny is? My dad just threatened to enter your territory and take me back! Don't you care?" I asked.
He shook his head, as if snapping out of a trance.
"I'm sorry. Okay, so this Danny is coming to take you back in how long?"
"In five days," I spoke. I stayed still as I realized what was happening.
Stay calm, take control.
I lifted up my phone and dialed my father's number.
"What do you want, Vitani?" My father shouted. Suddenly a piece of the old me took over when speaking to the man who ruined me.
"Listen to me and listen to me clearly because I will not repeat myself. I am not going to go back, whether you like it or not. You have to face the fact that I have changed and am not going to kill innocent werewolves anymore. If you enter Atticus' territory, it will be considered as an act of war and Atticus' pack will attack you, even if you are my family. And I volunteer to help them," I threatened, feeling an anger in me ignite and my blood begin to boil. I knew he would back down, I just didn't expect him to take that long to respond.
The silence lasted for a minute or so, before my dad spoke again.
"Then as of now, we're at war." he spoke, then the line went dead.
Shivers went up and down my arms and back.
I turned to Atticus, expecting him to be angry at me for getting his pack involved in this.
"It's alright," he said, gently pulling me to him and hugging me.
"You're not angry?" I asked.
"I'm not. When the pack realizes you've changed, they will gladly go to war for you," he said. I pulled away from him and stared at him.
"They won't believe you," I said, looking down, tears starting to form in my eyes.
"They will."
"They won't, trust me. One of the first rules I learned was to never trust anyone that is originally from the enemy's side and is claiming they have changed."
"Are you serious?"
"Yes! We always used to get werewolves begging for their lives, saying that they'd change and wouldn't kill anymore or would be willing to join our side."
"They'll believe their Alpha," he growled out, turning around and walking away from me and into the forest.

"Listen, everyone!" Julian yelled out, trying to calm down the room filled with werewolves. No one listened. Everyone was talking or shouting or giving me dirty looks.
We hadn't even told them what was going on, yet they were already shouting.
I looked around, trying to find Atticus.
He'd called a pack meeting, and he wasn't even there.
Julian desperately looked around, then at me and growled.
"Your fault." he mouthed.
I looked away. I saw Atticus coming my way, finally after ten minutes.
"Finally! Tell them to shut up, they're giving me a migraine," I said, rubbing my left temple.
He rolled his eyes, a small smile threatening to form on his plump lips, but followed my order.
"Silence!" He yelled. The room instantly became quiet enough to hear a pin drop.
"Thank you. As you all know, Vitani is a hunter, and she is my mate."
Everyone nodded.
"I went to go see a witch a few days ago. This witch was very helpful. I had not met Vitani when I visited her, so I didn't know she was my mate. The witch gave me a glass ball." Atticus explained.
"Vitani came to me today asking for my forgiveness, admitting that she wanted to change. I don't know what came over me at that moment, but I knew what I had to do. I went for the glass ball and with it sucked out the evil within Vitani," he continued.
"Vitani is no longer evil. She is on our side now. Her father wants her back, but she is my mate and I'm not letting her go," he spoke.
The crowd mumbled a bit, but let him go on.
"Vitani's father didn't really like the fact that she refused to return. I don't care, though. So, my pack... as of now, we officially declare war against the Wolf Hunters."
