Dream
I open my eyes in a dark cave. A figure appeared from the floor and spoke in a soft voice, "Lord Pain, it seems that another Jinchūriki has appeared in the Hidden Leaf Village."
I couldn't make out their faces but they wore black cloaks with red clouds on them, "Interesting, do you know which one it is? And who this person is?"
"No, there are no traces of the boy anywhere, but I was able to get a picture."
The figure then gives the other the picture, "And you are sure that they are a Jinchūriki?"
The other one spoke, "He gives off the same aura as one. Other than that, there isn't any other way I can confirm."
He nods his head, "This is quite interesting, and you are sure that you've never seen him."
"Negative. In all of my time looking for them, I've never seen him."
"Hmm, send Kisame's duo to fetch him. If he just appeared he can't be too powerful. Better to get him out of the way now."
"I will tell them Immediately."
He fazes through the floor again. All of a sudden I fall through the floor and land on my butt. I stuff that memory into the back of my mind, remembering it for later. I stand up and see a campfire with someone sitting at it. I walk over and sit down next to them, "Hey Lady Hestia. What brings you here?"
"Hello Tamotsu. How did your first day go?"
I shrug my shoulders, "Could have gone better. I arrived in the middle of an invasion. So now they are suspicious of me, but other than that? Just great."
I was a bit sarcastic towards the end. She chuckles, "Don't worry Tamotsu, it is a shinobi's instinct to be paranoid around outsiders. When you earn their trust, and you will, they'll treat you like one of their own."
I hug my legs to my chest, resting my head on my knees, "And if they don't?"
"What makes you say that?"
"You've seen how the majority of camp treats me. What makes you think they will be any different?"
I look at her pleadingly, hoping she can prove me wrong, "I... I'm not able to tell you why, but if you trust me, then in time, you could consider this place your home."
I sigh, "I hope you're right."
She gives me a sad smile, "I'm not able to stay here long. We have little influence in this world. If you ever need me, I'll always be one dream away."
She stands up, "Also I saw that Serena gave you her address for letters. If you ever send her one, I'll gladly deliver it to her."
I give her a small smile, "Thank you Lady Hestia. If you ever need me to do something just let me know. I'll do it."
With that, the dream faded away.
Third Person POV
It was the next morning. Kakashi was making his way towards the hospital room, where Naruto and Tamotsu were in. Kakashi found the name to be familiar, being the name of a missing child of someone he knew. 'Is it the same one? Or is it a different child altogether?' Kakashi thought.
Kakashi walks into the room to see Naruto still sleeping on the bed. He looked around the room to see that Tamotsu wasn't in the room. That can't be good. Toothless is still in the room though. 'Would he really leave the dragon here?' thought Kakashi.
He looks over to Pakkun, "Hey Pakkun, wake up. Where did Tamotsu go?"
Pakkun wakes up and sniffs his nose, "He's still in the room Kakashi, now let me sleep."
