Ch 20. Training With the New Sensei

"Allow me to introduce you to your new sensei... Itachi Uchiha."

The guy in front of me gives me a judgmental look, "So this is the boy that I have to train?"

Tsuande gives him a reprimanding glare, "Yes, and you will do it to the best of your ability."

I cut in, "Wait, Bachan, I thought you said all of the Uchiha were killed."

Itachi answers, "She is right. There are only a couple of us left. The rest were wiped off the face of the world."

There was an awkward silence that hung in the air. Um, what do I say now? "Hello Itachi-sensei, it's a pleasure to meet you."

He gives me a harsh look, "Let's go. We have some things to discuss."

He walks past me and out the door. I give Tsunade a questioning look, "What gives?"

She sighs, "No clue, don't take it to heart. He is a great shinobi and will make you stronger."

"If you say so Bachan."

I turn around and leave the room. I look both ways, trying to see where Itachi went. I close my eyes and extend my chakra trying to find him. Ah, I think that's him. I shunshin to him and nonchalantly ask, "So what do you want to talk about."

"You will understand that I am your sensei. If I tell you to do something, you will do it, without question. I will push you farther than you thought would be possible. Follow me, we will be going to one of the training grounds, I have to see how strong you are."

With that, we continued walking in silence. I have a feeling he doesn't like me. Once we got outside, he started running. I did the same and tried to keep up. He was faster than I was. I did my best to keep up but it was all in vain, he was slowly gaining distance on me. We were running for about five minutes before we reached one of the training grounds. I instantly started catching my breath, knowing that I was about to be worked through the ground, "I will now be testing you to see where you stand. Once the kunai hits the ground, the match will begin."

I instantly stand and ready myself. This isn't going to go well. The kunai lands and he charges at me. My eyes widened. I dodge his attacks. He sends a punch towards my stomach. I deflect it inward and send a left hook towards his head. He leans back and throws a kunai at me. I was just able to dodge it to where it grazed my cheek. He sends a flurry of attacks at me. I wasn't able to dodge and redirect all of them. He sent an axe kick towards my head and I was just able to shunshin away in time.

I hide in the trees, catching my breath. Maybe I can use a binding seal on him. I create some clones and get to work on creating the seals. I incorporate a chakra draining seal into it. That should stop him from being able to break through it. I made the seals on the bark of three trees. Once I completed it, I put some distance between myself and the trap. I'd need to lure him in if this is to work. I see a kunai fly towards me and I block it with my sword. I land on a tree and try to find where he is. All of a sudden, he lands in front of me and swipes at my head. I parry the attack and send a kick towards his side. The fight continues, him slashing and stabbing at me. I was trying my best to block and deflect all of the attacks. I backed up towards the trap. I move around him and start going on the offensive. A clone that I created earlier jumps down from one of the trees and goes to axe kick him in the head. At the same time I create a Rasengan in my hand. He grabs the leg and throws him into the ground, making it pop. I go through the smoke and aim for his stomach. He jumps back and I smirk. I activate the barrier seal and start pouring chakra into it. Itachi throws a kunai at it but just bounces off the barrier. I hear his voice come from all around me, "Hmm, this is most impressive. For a genin. Too bad you have failed to capture me."
