Ch 17: Mastering the Jutsu and Fighting Giant Animals

Third Person POV

It was the 6th night. Tamotsu was laying on the ground, exhausted. He had a grin on my face though, being able to master the jutsu today. He was now trying to also be able to do it in my right hand. He slowly stood up and started building up chakra in his right hand. He expels it out of his right hand, slowly creating a Rasengan. He thrust it against a tree but it dispels in a swirl. He stumbles back and collapses on the floor.

Shizune was watching from behind a rock and came to check up on him. As soon as she got close, she heard a growl. She looked up and saw Toothless stalking towards her. She puts her hands up in a nonthreatening way, "Woah there, I don't mean any harm. I just want to take him back to his room and heal his wounds."

He stands down and gestures for her to pick him up. She picks him up and starts walking back to the room. Toothless comes up beside her and gestures to put Tamotsu on his back. She does so and they make their way to the room.

Tomatsu POV

The next day

I woke up in a room. How did I get here? I get out of bed and wake up Toothless. He groans and opens his eyes, "Hey bud, how'd you sleep."

He grumbles and shakes his head, "Sorry bud, but we got a lot of stuff to do today."

I look around and see Shizune on the floor. What happened? "Hey Toothless, wake Naruto up."

I kneel down next to Shizune and shake her awake, "Hey Shizune, why are you on the floor?"

She shoots up, "Oh no! Wh... what day is it?"

"Uh, it's Monday."

She gives me a startled look, "You feel ok?"

I look at her weirdly, "Uh yeah, just a little sore."

Naruto cuts in, "What's going on?"

I turned to him, "No clue, Shizune was passed out on the floor."

I then turn back to her, "Uh yeah, just a little sore. Never mind me though. Why were you passed out on the floor?."

She ignores me and says, "Tomatsu, you stay here!"

Just as she opens the window, a kunai flies through, almost hitting Shizune. I turn to see Jiraiya leaning against the wall, "Hold up Shizune. Tsunade drugged my drink. Not only can I not use my chakra correctly, my body's so numb I can't even throw a kunai straight."

The three of us hopped out the window and went to Jiraiya. Jiraiya gives Shizune a hard look, "So Shizune, start spilling. What have you been chatting to Orochimaru about?"

I raise an eyebrow and Shizune stutters out, "I wanted to trust Lady Tsunade... That's why I didn't speak up sooner, but now."

She stands up, "There's very little time, please come with me, I'll explain everything on the way."

We stand and start to follow Shizune. She explains how Orochimaru came to her asking to heal his arms. He said that she'd revive her little brother and lover in return. She then says, "As soon as his arms are healed, he intends to attack Konoha."

Shit, "We need to stop Orochimaru now or things are going to get a lot worse."

We land to see the ground completely broken, "Woah, what the hell happened here?"

Shizune says, "So, Lady Tsunade has declined."

I talk to Toothless, "Bud, I need you out here."

I feel him jump off my head and he undoes the henge. I turn to Jiraiya, "I'm going to search from the skies. I'll probably have more luck up there."
