A few days passed and things quickly got back to the normal routine. I continued to work on my jutsus in secret at my spot in the woods while also attending to my regular duties in camp. I continued to work on making my preexisting jutsu's stronger while also working on my seal making.

Camp was a bit different with Thalia around. A lot of the campers still didn't know how to fully act around her, but having her around was fun. Sparing with her was unique. She would always use her electrical abilities to shock you with her spear. She was surprised however when her shield didn't have any effect on me. She and I quickly became friends and she fit well into our little group. Percy and Thalia would butt heads a lot. I guess them being children of the big three that's bound to happen.

I slowly started working my way up the totem pole in camp. My swordsmanship has improved a lot since last year and it shows. Chiron asked me to start training some of the younger campers and I did. He knew I knew what was to come, and that I would prepare them best for the fights in the future.

I'm in the forest at the moment, working on my flight suit. It's taking a while for me to build another one. However, having access to celestial bronze makes it so much easier to build. It allows for a slimmer profile than other materials that I would use. I was working on the stitching for one of the arm pieces when a polecat and a dog came over to me. The polecat nipped at my foot and started walking away, looking back at me.

I gave it a quizzical look before getting up and deciding to follow it. If I remember correctly a polecat and a dog are the sacred animals of Hecate. The two animals lead me farther into the forest. They led me to a small clearing in the forest and I saw who I'm pretty sure was lady Hecate, "Hello Lady Hecate, how may I help you?"

She turns around and smiles, "Hello Tamotsu, I see your quest went well."

I nod, "It did. How have you been, Lady Hecate."

"Oh I've been fine; keeping up with my godly duties, making sure the mortals are oblivious to our world, you know, the usual."

"Uh huh. Is there something that I could help you with, Lady Hecate?"

She nods, "As you know, godly parents can't interact with their children much. That means that my children aren't able to learn and train their abilities. I was wondering if you could train my children in their abilities. Your abilities in ninjutsu should translate a bit to their magical abilities."

I nod, "Of course. I mean, I might need a book or something that explains what they can do and how to do it, but I'll train them."

She smiles, "Thank you, Tamotsu. I can't thank you enough."

She hands me a small book, "This should explain the abilities of my children and what they can do."

I look at the book, flip through some of the pages, this is going to suck, "Is that all you needed to talk to me about?"

Hecate nods, "That is all, where and when should my children meet you tomorrow?"

I think for a second before saying, "Tell them to meet me here at Zeus's fist at 6 am."

With that, Hecate left. I went back to my camp and started looking through the book. There was a lot about the basics of magic. There were many different types of magic and honestly, there were many parallels between magic and ninjutsu, it was very interesting to study. There was nature magic, necromancy magic, elemental magic, the list goes on and on. The difficult part would be finding out what kind of magic they have or be interested in learning.

I spent the rest of the day making lesson plans for the next couple of days, making sure to get into a rhythm of training. I decided to miss dinner to finish my plans. Before I knew it, it was night time, and time for me to head to bed.
