I appear on the floor of a forest. I guess this is Central Park. I lean back on the ground, taking a second to take in everything that has happened. We did it, we actually did it. I start to laugh. I'm not gonna lie, it seemed like we weren't going to make the deadline. I slowly stand up, being cautious of the wounds that I have. I start limping out of the park. It took me about 15 minutes to get out. People were giving me strange looks, but I don't think it was anything to be alarmed about. I stand on the sidewalk and hail a taxi. I get in and give him the address to camp. I sit in the back, relaxing along the way. I make sure to still look out for monsters, as I'm still not in a safe place. It took about two and a half hours to get to camp. It was a pretty quiet ride, no monsters or anything. I make my way up Half Blood Hill and look over camp. Nothing's changed so far. I hear some clopping of hooves and turn towards. I smile, "Hey Valk! How are you doing?"
She neighs and bumps me in the chest. I wince a little but laugh, "It's good to see you, Valk. How is the wing feeling?"
She chuffs and turns to the side, showing me her wing. It's still in a splint, but it looks like it is healing nicely. I should probably tell Mr. D that I am back. We make our way to the big house. People are giving me looks along the way. They're probably upset that I'm back. I get on the porch and see him sitting there playing a game with Chiron, "Hey Mr. D, Chiron, we were successful with our quest."
He doesn't look up from the game, "That is good to hear, Tomato. Where is the Sabrina brat?"
"Well, the god who gave me the quest wanted to talk to me in person. He teleported me to Central Park. Serena went back with Annabeth and Percy."
"That is good to hear that you are both alright. It's a lot of paperwork if any of you got killed."
Chiron gives me a quizzical look, "You went on a quest?"
"Yeah, I got it after you left."
Chiron gives Mr. D a look, "Mr. D, how come you didn't tell me?"
He looks up from the board, "The god that gave him the quest told him to keep it to himself, but to tell me so that someone at camp would know."
Chiron looks satisfied with the answer and turns back to me, "Well, I'm glad to see that you made it back ok. It's time to celebrate!"
"Actually Chiron, I'd rather not. The god who gave me a quest asked that no one would know about it, and I would like to keep it that way."
Chiron gave me a questioning look, "Are you sure about this, my boy?"
I gave him a reassuring look, "I'm sure Chiron."
"I see, well if that is what you wish. You should go to the infirmary and get your wounds checked over."
I walk over to the infirmary and knock on the door. I hear a faint 'come in' and walk through the door, "Hey Will, how has camp been."
Will has a shocked look on his face, "Tamotsu, where have you been?"
"Um, I am not allowed to tell you. Sorry, god's orders."
He gives me a questioning look but drops it, "What brings you in here."
"Well, Chiron told me to come here."
He gestures to me to sit on one of the beds and I do, "does anything hurt."
"Yeah, my chest does."
"Ok, can you lift up your shirt for me?"
I do so, "Tamotsu! What the hell happened?!"
There's a giant bruise on my chest from where Ares kicked me, "Uh, I got kicked."
