Love is different for everyone
Humans find love in the simple things, such as afternoon strolls, weddings and sunset kisses
Waiting for their other soul to come back from war safe
To protect them and love them in return
Two souls winding togethe...
'Out of an entire kingdom, he kneels only to me' - Daniella Michallen

"Sire, you have a visitor" a guard said loudly, cutting the soul pleading off I sighed This boy was back again? The messenger The one who begged to speak to Persephone every time he came
The soul was escorted from the room and the grand doors opened, Minthe entering Minthe. My day had been somewhat of ecstasy I had kissed the stolen goddess I had slept beside her and gained ground in earning her affection.
And then she walks in here, smiling at me Ruining it all "Hades" she smiled "What?" I asked "I am bored" she said "Bored?" I asked
"Yes, bored. It is tiring watching a river" she said bluntly Such a bluntness that she must have forgotten who she was speaking to. "Get out" I said simply "Excuse me?" She asked
"You were given a role so go and fulfill it, if you fail to I will appoint someone else" I said She took a step closer to the throne To me "I heard you had taken a woman?" She asked
"Minthe. Get out" I warned I did not have to tell someone twice "Where is she?" She asked "That is none of your concern" I dismissed "What is it? What is it she has that entices you Hades?" She asked "Guards" I called
"Take her back to the river" I said simply She defied them, shaking their grip from her arm before walking from the room.
I did not have time for people's interruptions Nor for her incessant whining She was a nymph Nothing I did not place myself above others But when it came to her, she was beneath mankind She was a snake. Waiting to strike.
"Send the souls in" I ordered, my land for Persephone was coming up to be more than I could have hoped I just hoped that she would like it That she would stare in awe the way she does at the rest of the world.
Her happiness was an ambition to me She was the key to my own happiness.

Gaia eventually left me, disappearing over the fields like an angel Something one would rarely see in their lifetime But she was nice. I liked her
I had stayed for a while at our spot, watching souls around the fields and the guards around the castle The gods I had seen but not met walking around the grounds, conversing.
I eventually dragged myself up, making my way into the castle in an effort to find Hades I appreciated Gaia's words, that this Minthe woman did not mean anything to Hades I was not entirely certain why I was even bothered by the idea of Hades having feelings for another
