Love is different for everyone
Humans find love in the simple things, such as afternoon strolls, weddings and sunset kisses
Waiting for their other soul to come back from war safe
To protect them and love them in return
Two souls winding togethe...

The castle felt vacant without her presence I felt... empty I felt bored Judging souls was never the greatest feeling but it seemed so tedious now So unnecessary Who was I to judge?
Who was I to deem people worthy and unworthy? When the very woman that held my heart often questioned my own decisions?
I sighed, revelling in the small break I had in judging The day was dragging me by The doubt was eating me alive I had not known torture until I met her
The torture of being unable to touch her The torture of her absence My thoughts torturing me alone was suffering enough Of what her mother will say
Of how she will return If she would return willingly
"How about you take a walk? Your face is scaring souls" Gaia suggested, entering the hall "Leave me be, how about that?" I snapped "Someone is angry" she commented "I am not angry. I..." "You are worried" she finished instead.
"...Yes" I answered She sighed, drifting back to the doors "Like I said, go for a walk, relax, she will return and her affection will not waver, no matter what her mother says" she said, leaving
I hoped so.

"Hades" I looked up, searching for the voice and wondering why my name was their choice and not my title I saw a nymph, a sight that confused me as I specifically told the guards not to let them in
"What?" I asked impatiently Minthe closed the doors, snaking a leg out of her dress each time she stepped forward I let out a breath, trying to stay calm But I was anything but
I was enraged someone had let her in I was enraged she felt that she could just walk in That she could call me by my name That she was now clearly about to proposition me
"Out" I ordered "Now... your grace, there is no need for such hostility" she said, slowly crossing the floor "Out, before you lose your freedom" I warned
She stopped, before she smiled "You have a soft spot for the goddess" she pointed out I had more than a soft spot for her "And she lost her freedom" she went on
