Love is different for everyone
Humans find love in the simple things, such as afternoon strolls, weddings and sunset kisses
Waiting for their other soul to come back from war safe
To protect them and love them in return
Two souls winding togethe...
'Mother, let me tell you a secret. Your flowers always died in my hands'

"Another bunch" mother sighed, throwing away the bouquet Apollo had left by the door I wish he would stop, he barely knew me, he hadn't even had a conversation with me.
"Apollo seems very... dedicated" I put it simply "Indeed, he should take some notes from his brother, such a nice boy" she said, referring to Hermes
I suppose he was nice, when mother was looking at him Alone he was... blunt, someone unafraid to speak his mind or deface any furniture with his winged shoes.

Why does she have to be so... captivating? So ethereal and beautiful As she moved gracefully through her garden.
I would see her today. Properly Formally. Up close Another god was receiving his duty today, I hadn't cared to ask who.
But if it meant I would get a closer look at the beauty before me I would suffer the company of the gods for a few hours

"Do not dawdle, and do not wander off" mother ordered, I nodded, just thankful to be back in such a grand place Somewhere so enchanted to me A place I never had the luxury of seeing
A place that made me marvel and how every other god here seemed to be bored of it by now But I was not. And now that I was a true goddess, I was required to attend these ceremonies like mother. And she could not stop me. "Ah Demeter, just the woman I was looking for" Zeus said, a cocky smile gracing his features.
"Zeus" she said simply, turning to me "Wait just there by the fountain Kore, I will not be long" she said, I nodded "I mean it, do not move" she warned.
I seated myself, feet in the water, the clear skies and running water a fresh perspective than the human world It seemed so much more... flourished.
"You should be facing the other way" I heard a voice above me I looked up, adjusting my eyes to the sunlight, settling on a dark figure
Hades... The man from my ceremony Even now he seemed to have me starstruck The way he was, the way he stood and brooded and lurked among the rest of the gods Silent and unwilling to show off his many luxuries.
He had dignity. And principle "Why is that?" I asked, unable to leave his gaze He cleared his throat, breaking eye contact after a moment and sitting beside me, facing the other way.
