"Good morning" Hades smiled at me
His smile...
"Good morning Hades" I said, surprised to see him
I was just passing through, my day had been planned out specifically. To spend all my time growing in the garden.

There was not much else for me to occupy myself with so far
"You were not uh... you were not there this morning, when I woke up" he said
"No... sorry. I have been in the garden" I said, I had only come back in for some more seeds from Gaia

"I was wondering, if you could spare some time later? So we can go through your role... down here" he said
"Hades-"
"I know. I know you have not committed to anything but, for the time being you are stuck down here, so, please let me show you what your life would look like here" he said.

It could not hurt could it?
To see what my life here could look like
I nodded
"Of course" I said
"Great... good" he mumbled
I smiled, nearing him and planting a small kiss on his cheek

One that perked his head up in a surprised manner
"I will see you later" I said, leaving him to his judgements

"Elysium?" I asked, looking to Hades for answers
"Yes, it was your idea after all, I thought if... if you stay you could run things here, grant those blessed" he suggested
"Really?" I asked

"You are the only blessed being down here, it would only make sense would it not?" He asked
"I..."
"Hades" Gaia spoke up, interrupting me as she hastily approached us, dress bunched in her hands

"Gaia, what is wrong?" He asked
Her gaze shifted between the two of us, becoming more aware when they landed on me
Before she hesitantly said
"Demeter is at the gate, she is demanding to speak with Persephone" she informed

"What?" I said
"Tell her to leave" Hades said, voice vacant of emotion
"No" I said quickly
He looked at me. Sharply
"Why?" He asked, I could tell it was more worry than anger setting in his mind

"I will speak to her" I said.
"Persephone" he said as I began to walk away
"I can handle her Hades, you keep saying how I can rule beside you, let me deal with it" I said
Silence
Whilst Gaia stood once again looking between us both, curiously

"Fine" he said, allowing Gaia to lead me away

I could hear her before I saw her
Her screeches echoed throughout the river as Charon nervously took me to the gate
Whilst Gaia sat patiently, no look of life on her face at all
