Chapter 4

A/N: Yes I did change the name of the fan fiction. You'll find out why in future chapters. Also I know you're probably reading some chapter and you're like "What the hell?" yes I know some chapters aren't edited, but I'll go back and fix my mistakes sooner or later. I'll let you get to chapter four now.

*Shayna's P.O.V

Summer went by pretty fast. I lost a lot of weight since I adopted the vegan lifestyle. Shane and I hung out a lot and now I'm proud to call him my boyfriend. The first time I went to church with my grandma, the preacher's sermon really spoke to me, so I'm officially a Christian. Jaylynn came to visit me and we had an amazing two weeks. She really liked Florida and didn't want to leave. Me and my grandma took a spontaneous trip to Japan. It was an amazing country. Oh I also got a Canon T3i, and a Macbook, so I started my own YouTube channel. I do beauty videos, covers, and just regular vlogs. I always wanted to do YouTube videos but my mom never bought me the equipment I needed.

So its official. I'm starting my junior year at Lemon Bay High School tomorrow. I have to be honest, I am excited and nervous about going tomorrow. I have math class with Shane which is good, and being a good boyfriend like he is, he said that he would help me find my classes. My phone started blaring out Dedication by Kalin and Myles. It was Shane. "Yes darling?" I said. "I just wanted to call and make sure you're not freaking out about tomorrow."

"I am but I have you to help so I'm not freaking out that bad."

"I also called to let you know that I'll be picking you up for school tomorrow."

"Oh you don't have to do that."

"Yes I do. I'm your boyfriend."

"Okay. What time will you be here?"

"Six fifty."

"Okay I'll be ready."

"Okay. I love you, and sleep well."

"Same to you too." I hung up my phone and set my alarm for five thirty, and since I had to get up so early I decided to go to sleep.

My alarm woke me up promptly at five thirty. I got out of bed right away and did all the necessary things I needed to do. When I was done and dressed I headed downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed a banana flax bar. I sat and ate it while I scrolled through my Twitter feed. I checked my YouTube channel and I currently have 999 subscribers. I bet I'll have a thousand by the time I get home, so I'll have to make an appreciation video when I get home tonight. I heard a honk outside and it was Shane in his truck. I grabbed my backpack and headed out to his truck. "Hey." I said as I got in. He kissed me. "You look happy this morning." he said backing out of my grandma's driveway. "Just happy to see you. As always." he smiled. "We have lunch and seventh hour together."

"Good." My phone signaled that I had a text. It was from Jaylynn. It read:

Have a good first day at your new school. Tell Shane I said hello.

"Jaylynn said hello."

"Oh that was her?"

"Yeah. She was telling me to have a good day at my new school."

"That was nice of her."

"Yeah."

"You miss her huh?"

"Of course. She's my best friend." It was silent the rest of the way to the school. I took a deep breath as Shane parked his truck. "You'll be fine Shayna."
