Chapter 18

*Shayna's P.O.V

I was waiting backstage at Myles' Crazy for Concert in the bay. This was his last one in the bay and he'd be flying out to New York tomorrow morning. I had a flight to Florida right after his concert.

After that picture of me and Myles was released to the world, it took two days to fizzle out, then Myles posted a picture of me and him on his Instagram with the caption "My baby girl!" his fans went absolutely crazy, and most of them were happy for me and Myles. I saw my dad the other day and hung out with Scarlet for a little while. "I'm single so I need a girlfriend." I heard Kalin say. Then I saw Myles run back to me. He grabbed my hand and dragged me out on stage and sat me on a stool. Everyone started screaming once I sat down. I waved to everyone with a shaky hand. Heck yeah I was nervous. I had major stage fright. They sang Girlfriend, and I started heading backstage again. "Oh no you don't." Myles said grabbing my hand. "Some of you might not know but Shayna here can sing." Myles said to the crowd. I shook my head. Kalin handed me his microphone. I took and started shaking even more. "Just take a deep breath." Myles whispered in my ear. I nodded and took a deep breath. "We're gonna sing Got You." Myles whispered in my ear. I nodded.

After singing I ran backstage with Myles and Kalin. "Oh my gosh! That was amazing." I said hugging Myles. "Told you that it isn't that bad." he said wrapping his arms around my neck. "We should probably get you to the airport." Kalin said. "Yeah." I said leading the way out of the venue. There were fans gathered outside of the back door. "Shayna! Shayna!" I heard several people yell. "Shayna can I get a picture?" a girl asked. "Sure." I took a picture with her. "Post that on Instagram and tag me in it." People kept yelling my name but I had to keep going. I had a plane to catch.

It was cold in Florida, I almost forgot how cold it can get here. I texted Myles.

Me: You might want to dress warm. Its quite chilly here.

Prince Charming: Okay baby girl. I'll see you very soon.

I put my phone away and tried to find John. He was picking me up as usual. "Shayna!" I heard John call. I finally saw him. I hugged him immediately. "How are you?" he asked. "I am fantastic. How are you?"

"I'm great." he smiled and grabbed one of my suitcases, and took it out to the Range Rover. "Its a little chilly here." I said handing him my other suitcase. "Shayna!" I heard a girl yell. I looked back to see a girl that looked about my age. "Yes?"

"Oh my gosh it is you. Can I get a picture?" I smiled. "Sure." She snapped a picture. "What's your twitter? I'll follow you and have Myles follow you." she told me her twitter and I left. "Did your YouTube channel finally take off?" John said driving out of the parking lot. "Yeah but Myles is part of a duo called Kalin and Myles, so his fans know me and him are dating."

"Oh I see." he said. The whole drive we just told each other about what's been going on in our lives. "Oh I may have dressed up your house up a little bit." he said as we pulled up to my house. The house had lights hanging from the roof. "Wait until you see inside. Marcia and I worked on it." I walked inside without even getting my bags. I was too excited to see what they had done. I saw they had set up a tree in the front room with fake little gifts under the tree. "Those aren't fake gifts either." John said dragging my suitcase in. The house smelled faintly of cinnamon. Christmas things were set up everywhere. I walked into the kitchen and Marcia was standing there with mugs in front of her. "Marcia!" I yelled hugging her. "How are you?" she asked. "I'm just great."

"Hot coco?" she said handing me a mug. I took the mug and sipped it cautiously. "The house looks amazing. Thanks for doing this."

"No problem Shayna. We just wanted you and Myles to have a wonderful Christmas here."

"Thanks Marcia." I said hugging her again.

*Alyssa's P.O.V

Shayna was gone so I had the whole apartment to myself. Besides Coco and Bob of course. This was going to be my first Christmas alone. I really started missing my family a lot since Christmas was such a big celebration for my family. We used to sit around playing board games, watch Christmas movies, and sing Christmas songs. I missed Giselle more than anything. She is such a great sister. My phone started ringing. It was Hannah. "I am so happy you called me."

"I just wanted to see how you were doing."

"I'm okay. I really miss you, and my family."

"I know. I miss you too." I heard a knock on the door. "Hey Hannah can I call you back?"

"Sure."

"Okay bye." I said opening the door. Jake was standing there with cookies and hot coco from Starbucks. "Hello my lady." he said. "Well hello." I let him in. He set the stuff down and hugged me. Jake and I were dating now, and I couldn't be happier. My phone started ringing. It was Shane this time. "Hello?"

"Who the hell is Myles?"

"None of your business."

"It is my business if Shayna is dating him."

"Shane why don't you just butt out?"

"No I still love Shayna."

"Well I'm sorry but Shayna loves Myles." I said before hanging up with him. "Who was that?" Jake asked. "Shayna's ex boyfriend."

"Why is he calling you?"

"Because he wants to know who Myles is. He must have found out about them dating."

"He sounded like an asshole."

"He can be sometimes."
